Hotel Nikko Düsseldorf - Ντύσελντορφ

το μπάνιο ήταν μικρό με ένα μόνο μπουρνούζι και ένα ζευγάρι παντόφλες - δεν υπήρχε κρέμα για τα μαλλιά -οι πετσέτες ήταν εξαιρετικά σκληρές - το πάπλωμα ήταν όσο η επιφάνεια του κρεβατιού - ελάχιστες κρεμάστρες (3 για παντελόνια και 3 χωρίς κλιπς), ζητήσαμε και έφεραν παραπάνω - πανάκριβες τιμές μινιμπαρ - η χρήση ιντερνετ δεν ειναι δωρεάν αλλά υπάρχει η απαράδεκτη χρέωση των 10 ε το δίωρο τόσο για χρήση στο δωμάτιο όσο και στους χώρους του ξενοδοχείου - φαγητό πανάκριβο και πολύ μικρές μερίδες : 4 χορτόσουπες και 2 τσιζμπουρκερ με 2 μπουκάλι νερο 100Ε - και τελος το πάρκινγκ έχει ημερήσιο κόστος 20 Ε στο υπόγειό τους το οποίο δεν είναι του ξενοδοχείου αλλά άλλης επιχείρησης

This was certainly one of the most chic hotels when it was constructed some 20-30 years ago. Since then a lot of things have changed except the interior of the hotel... Value for money wise it is good, but if you are looking for everything not to seem too fragile this is not your hotel.

This hotel was a great hotel for the price, clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. I would not class it as a 5* but a 4* and would definately stay there again if only for the location.

the hotel was very central the staff very pleasant and helpful and beautifully kept decor beautiful and hotel was spotless would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay there excellent hotel

The hotel has a very good location, only five mins from trian station. staff were great and the rooms were gorgeous. the main shopping streets are only a short walk away. I will definitely stay again.

While the hotel is very nice as are the accomodations the front desk staff are VERY ARROGANT and CONDESCENDING and have OVERBILLED ME FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED

the location is quite convenient for major city transportation Big department stores literally in the walking distance. Free parking from the hotel, wasn't offered, so you can park your car in front of the hotel if you lucky or for 10 euros right around the corner for overnight parking. Nikko is primary suitable for business meetings or conferences and is right in the heart of Japan town of Duseldorff. I found the interior to be gloom and not inviting, it looks more like a business establishment. Overall i like it OK, but i would choose something else next time I'm in town,

This was clearly a hotel for those idiotic corporate types. A very high standard generally, but the rudeness of the staff and general feel of the place did not make me feel welcome. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the facilities and the location though!

We went to sample the Christmas Markets and have never been to Germany before. The hotel was great and the staff very pleasant. We were very pleased with the location as we used the train to make a trip to nearby Cologne. It was about a 20 minute walk to the old part of the city and the Rhine but cutting through the designer stores it didn't seem that far. I would recommend the Nikko to anyone

Overall the hotel and my stay in the city were amazing it was a perfect short trip. The hotel is very nice and the staff are well informed and helpful. The Spa is well worth paying to visit its great and the view is 10/10. The location was also spot on and only a short walk into the centre. The only issues I had with the Hotel were that the bath in the bathroom was tiny and even though I am short I found it a nightmare also the room is only provided with 1 tea cup which I found annoying and strange in a room being shared by 2. Overall though I was pleased and with the hotel and would go back

The hotel try's hard to live up to its rating but fails on several levels . The front desk staff with certain exceptions are unhelpfull and arrogant and are completely rule bound. Aside from the new wing the rooms although clean are in need of some refurbishment . Very hard to control the room heat settings . The astronomically priced breafast is just very average quaility and the Japanese resturant is well beyond the price of mere mortals.

The Hotel Nikko offers fresh and modern accommodations. We stayed in a "superior" room and much enjoyed the spacious non-traditional pentagonal floor plan. The furniture was a little too brown and beige; the modern colors seen in the advertisements didn't materialize. The commanding view of downtown Dusseldorf, however, delighted. The one major drawback of the hotel is its peculiar and overpriced food service. Two restaurants offer five different menus (for different purposes) and feature a peculiar mix of dishes. For example, there is one "just steaks" menu and one area devoted only to truffles. The hotel also plays a certain number of tricks, offering allegedly "free" vouchers for services that ultimately carry a charge--"gifts" that are masked as friendliness but are rather marketing enticements. Overall, the hotel is a bit eccentric but offers a refreshing respite from its somewhat harsh urban setting.

Overall, a decent hotel in central Dussledorf - only 10 minutes walk to old town. No real benefits over more mainstream business hotel chains - but something a little different with the Japanese theme. One dissapointment was the €15 charge to use the gym & pool - seems uneccessary.

enjoyed the hospitality of the well informed staff, the rooms were large and had wonderful lighting and very clean, which is the most important, beds and bedding very comfortable, will stay here again!

This hotel was outstanding for business travelers with the company picking up the tab. I am not sure a $40 (USD) continental breakfast is worth the price, and $28 a day to use the gym/pool is a little on the expensive side. Other than that, it was very nice.

This was a pretty nice hotel for Europe. The hotel itself was large, but the room was standard. Only one station in English on TV, and to use the pool was a 15 euro charge per day! Breakfast was not included in the room, so we did not try it. 90% of the guests were Japanese, which was kinda wierd since it was Germany, but once wandering around the town, we understood.

Das Hotel ist im großen und ganzen in Ordnung. Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück und die Zimmer sind auch o.k. (würde diese allerdings eher in ein 4*Hotel eingruppieren). Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass im Hotel die Isolierglasscheiben matt sind (wahrscheinlich nur durch Austausch, mit hohen Kosten zu beheben), deswegen wirken die Zimmer auf den ersten Blick nicht ganz so ordentlich. Aber am zweiten Tag hat man sich daran gewöhnt. Ich würde dieses Hotel auch wieder buchen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist o.k.!

Speisen und Getränke sind zu teuer.Frühstücken kann man in unmittelbarer Nähe für die Hälfte. In der Pianobar sind die Getränke und Snaks ebenfalls um 100% teurer als in den umliegenden Bars.

Ett bra affärshotell, nära till centrum och centralstation. Mycket lätt att ta sig i princip överallt härifrån, ändå lungt trots läget. Dyr frukost.

God velkomst og fantastisk restaurant

Tog med frugan till den årliga båtmässan. Bra hotell med japansk mat och Spa (spa:t var dock fullbokat, bör bokas innan ankomst). Schysst rum med bra säng. Bra läge.

Hotel Nikko is alright. They have assessed themselves as a five star hotel, but I certainly do not agree with that. I have stayed at five star hotels, and they are not comparable in anything but service. The service was better than most hotels I've visited. Very professional and very friendly. The spa cost 15 euro/person but that is valid for a whole day so I think it's reasonable. The view from pool area was nice, just like the atmosphere. We stayed there for a whole day, reading and relaxing. However, I was not fond of people being naked in the mixed sauna. The rooms were just like in any other average hotel. The location was not as central as we expected. Walking to Könings allee took about 15 minutes. On the other hand, we appreciated the short distance (5 minute walk) to the central station.

We had to wait for 1 1/2 for the room was available at the bar. Then you may expect a free drink, but this was not the case. Rooms are small and expensive breakfast/swimmingpool

Voor gebruik van zwembad, ontbijt, parkeergelegenheid moet je bijbetalen. Uiteindelijk was de prijs het dubbele van de kamerprijs. Vooral het betalen voor het zwembad is tamelijk absurd. Verder kun je de gordijnen niet zomaar open doen, want de inkijk is behoorlijk. Verder weinig sfeer. Maar wel netjes en centraal gelegen.
