Radisson Blu Hotel, Berlin - Βερολίνο

We stayed for 11 nights in these beautiful hotel and we enjoyed every single minute. It is modern and clean, with a great atmosphere and great people to help you around. It is also positioned in the best possible location! I will definitely stay there in my next visit to Berlin.

Me and my wife stayed at the Radisson for 2 nights in a buisiness class room with a balcony facing the Dom and the river Spree. The hotel is all of what you expect of a 5 star hotel and moreover is in an absolutely fabulous location, near many attractions and all the means of public transport (buses 100 and TXL 2 minutes walking, S-Bahn station Hackescher Markt 5 minutes and Alexanderplatz 10 minutes). The breakfast was just stunning and offered something for every taste. The lobby is as astonishing as every other review says, with fishes swimming over your head. Now, the only two drawbacks. The Nespresso machine in the room didn't work and more seriously there was a huge spider web in the balcony which made it very difficult to sit outside and enjoy the breathtaking view and which for some reason was never cleaned during the 2 days that we stayed at the hotel. Nevertheless, the Radisson is an absolutely great place to stay in Berlin if you find a good price bargain as we did.

Stayed at Radisson Blue Berlin with 2 mates on a weekend trip. Ideal place for a boy's weekend: central location, nice clean rooms, cool modern design, proximity to restaurants / bars, friendly staff, very nice spa area. A couple will no doubt also enjoy a stay there, although may be not a very romantic place - the big aquarium in the lobby gives the hotel a slightly cool touch ... But if you want to discover Berlin, Blu is a great base ...

This hotel, with its comforts and location, is one of the best places to stay while in Berlin. I would, and will, stay here again with no hesitation.

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. combines German efficiency and competency with good friendly staff. This is quite simply an example for every other hotel to look at to see how it should and can be done

The hotel is in a perfect spot. It's right next to the Berlin Cathedral and Museum Island. It's a ten or fifteen minute walk from the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, and about ten minutes walk from fabulous shopping on Friederickstrasse. Also about two blocks north of the hotel, is Hackeschemarkt, which is a great dining and nightspot area. Just east of the hotel is Alexanderplatz, and Jjust a short walk farther east, you get into some magical neighborhoods around Kollwitzstrasse and Woerther Strasse, with amazing restaurants in beautiful quiet neighborhoods, away from the regular tourist spots. The hotel is very close to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations at Hackesche Markt, and just a tad farther to the Alexanderplatz station. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with an amazing aquarium in the lobby which never gets old. Definitely get the type of room that includes the breakfast, because it is simply the very very best we have ever had in a hotel. It's something that you'd typically expect to pay $30 for during a Sunday brunch. Simply amazing. It's not just some pastries and coffee, but four wonderfully laid out buffets including amazing breads and pastries, an American/English style buffet, a Scandinavian Buffet, a cereal and yogurt buffet, and omelets made to order. Plus you can have Latte, Espresso, Cappuccino, Macchiato, or just simple coffee or tea, all of it wonderful. And you can eat while looking at the eastern side of the Berlin Cathedral. The rooms are beautifully laid out, and the bathroom layout was absolutely ingenious. The room and bathroom were quite big enough for a ten day stay. The only quip we had was that the "double" bed is actually two twin beds against each other, and they can easily roll apart. Other than that, I think this was one of the very best places to stay in Berlin, far better than staying in Potsdamer Platz or around Ku'Dam. We would most definitely stay here again on our next trip to Berlin.

I stayed here recently with my girlfriend for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. We were in Berlin for a long weekend sightseeing and it was an ideal hotel for this. It only took about an hour to get to the hotel from the airport (Schonefeld). It is only about 2 minutes walk from the nearest tram or underground stations. From the hotel you can walk down the main avenue to the Brandenburg gate in no more than 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. The only issues we had with the hotel which might put some people off is that even though we booked a double room i.e. a double bed, we in fact got two single beds pushed together with two single duvets. We called up and asked to be moved to a room with a double bed which was done with minimum fuss. However I was told that most of their rooms have two single beds. Even in the room with a double bed, which was slightly smaller, but still perfect, we only got two single duvets, which is annoying. After asking for a larger duvet, we got one, but that was still too small. On our way out later that afternoon, we asked for two another duvets to be left in our room, but we only got blankets. So when we got back we had to call again asking for another duvet. Again this was only a single duvet, but it was good enough. I'm not sure if this is a problem specific to the hotel or just a German thing to sleep in separate beds, but it was still a bit annoying, even if it's fairly minor. Overall a great hotel though and I would stay there again.

Location was wonderful, room was quiet and comfortable and staff was very helpful. Concierge sent us to interesting and different restaurants for dinner - he provided excellent advice based on our interests. Aquarium view from elevator was a plus and breakfast buffet was as good as it gets - with efficient friendly service. Can't beat this hotel for Berlin!

Perfect location, right in the middle of Mitte and beside the Berlin tv tower. Plenty of places to eat and drink and all within a 5-10 minute walk. We got the S9 train from Schonefield Airport and got off at Alexanderplatz station in the center of Berlin. The Radisson Blu was only a 5 minute walk. Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful.

Very nice modern hotel, great location, comfortable rooms. Ask for the river view rooms.

Hotel is in an excellent location could not fault the staff service or rooms which were spotless. Only stayed 2 nights was not long enough.

Very happy with this hotel. Check in was very efficient. Staff were very courteous. Would definitely recommend the breakfast, very acceptable continental breakfast.

Overall the hotel was just what you would expect from this hotel chain. Overall service was very good, hotel was clean and food was also very good. Ideally located for visiting many of the main tourist sites in Berlin.

We were disappointed with the Radisson SAS Berlin for a number of reasons: - despite specfically requesting a queen size bed when making our reservation we were allocated twin beds on arrival - we had at least 5 or 6 separate trips to reception where electronic key cards failed to work. Our room was a bit of a walk from reception which made this all the more frustrating - compared to other 5 star properties we have stayed in this did not measure up. We have previously stayed in a 4 star Radisson which had a room 3 times the size of the room in this supposed 4 star - changing rooms in pool area are tiny - on the plus side the fish tank is impressive

Loved everything about this hotel. Great service - staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food at the breakfast buffet, Atrium lounge and Heat restaurant was excellent. The room was lovely especially the great view of the aquarium in the lobby. Excellent value for money. I will definitely go back.

My partner and I both 23 stayed here for 2 nights. the hotel was lovely, clean modern etc and the acquarium is amazing. the hotel is within walking distance of the TV tower(2min), berlin cathedral/museum/university(5min) and also the famous brandenburg gates(15min). its also walking distance(5min walk) from the meeting point for the concentration camp tour(10am) and the pub crawl tour(8.15pm). walking distance of a 5story shopping centre(5mins). Breakfast spread was excellent, huge variety. only complaint was we ordered a double room and we got 2 single beds pushed together, we requested to change and the next room we got had a double bed with 2 single duvets. also room was A LITTLE chilly and we couldnt get the heat working properly. overall lovely stay and would definatly return.

We stayed in a cold February & the hotel was as good as the promise. Great service, excellent breakfast buffet (15 min queue to be seated) & teriffic location. We would definately go back. Small gripe, the business rooms have 2 single beds pushed together & they dont have a KS quilt - we were told "this isn't America"!

This hotel is great. Really good location, close to Hackesher Markt trains/bars/restaurants and equally close to Alexanderplatz for all other trains and also the tv tower (good view). Also right next to Berlier Dom which is amazing inside, I was surpised how good it was and also Museum Island. Room was really nice with enough space, plasma tv and a nice bathroom. The aqarium in the lobby is fantastic and with 3 restaurants on site you can get food anytime. but you'll need your credit card 'cos the food is expensive.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the SAS Radisson. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the staff friendly and responsive. The hotel is also located close to some excellent bars and restaurants.

Wir kamen nach langer Zugfahrt zu einem Kurzurlaub fruehmorgens in Berlin an. Obwohl es nicht zu erwarten war, wurde uns ein freies Zimmer Verfuegung gestellt. Das Eingehen auf Gaestewuensche war hervorragend. Die Lage des Hotel im Zentrum (trotzdem sehr ruhig) und die Qualitaet sind ueber jeden Zweifel erhaben. Etwas unruhig fuer Nicht-Business-Leute ist die Atmosphaere beim Fruehstuck, das Fruehstueck selbst entspricht dem Standard des Hotels. Wir waren ausserordentlich zufrieden und werden das Hotel beim naechsten Kurzurlaub in Berlin bestimmt wieder buchen.

Idéal pour la visite de Mitte et ses environs. Chambre un peu petite, et nombreuses taches sur la moquette. Literie excellente. Décoration minimaliste mais neutre. Pas de rangement dans la salle de bains, et les serviettes changées tous les jours malgré les recommandations sur les économies d'eau. Cartes d'accès ne fonctionnent pas toujours. A part ça, un personnel agréable et disponible, un petit-déjeuner impressionnant, et une vue imprenable sur l'aquarium. Un excellent hôtel, mais ne correspond pas vraiment au "prestige" d'un 5 étoiles, plutôt d'un 4.

Dette hotel ligger smack midt i Berlin. Generelt har jeg set en del hoteller på foretningsrejser. Dette er klart det smukkeste jeg har boet på. Hall'en består af et 40m højt akvarie, som er en del af Waterworld naboattraktionen. Men hotellet har så afgjort glæde af det. Man er ganske simpelt bjergtaget af synet fra alle etager. Vi boede på 6. med udsigt til floden Spree, og den fantastiske Berliner Dom. Fantastisk at ligge i sin dobbeltseng og nyde synet af kirken hele dagen og om natten. Af samme årsag var vores gardin ikke trukket for overhovedet under opholdet!

Nyt, rent og lækkert. Imponerende fisketank midt i hotellet. Vil også næste gang bede om at få et værelse med udsigt til tanker.

Meget fint og ordentligt hotel - vi nød det, og glæder os til at komme retur i januar.

Vi synes at alt var perfekt. Personalet uhyre venligt. Værelset godt og rummeligt. Vi havde bedt om et stille værelse og var fuldstændig tilfredse. Sikkerheden på hotellet var i top og morgenmadsbuffeten var fantastisk.

Topp beliggenhet, standard og service

Hver gang du tar ut en ting eller flaske fra minibar, blir du automatisk charged for den tingen selv om du skal bare se på den. Dette oppdaget vi på den første dagen vår da vi skulle bare sjekke info på tv. Dette ble rettet opp da vi ringte ned til resepsjonen. På den siste dagen vår oppdaget vi at en av personalet har forsynt seg med en drink fra minibaren vår og vi ble automatisk charged for 4.5Euro...igjen. Selv om dette ble rettet opp da vi klaget, likevel syns jeg at servicen er altfor elendig. Tenk på de som ikke oppdager dette ... Dette er ikke verdt for å være en 5stjernes hotel

Modernt elegant inrett hotell,inget Romantik hotell. Du tar dig lätt och snabbt till sevärdheterna i centrala Berlin härifrån. Vi tog sightseeing båt alldeles utanför hotellhörnet.Imponerande Akvarium i lobbyn där även frukost kunde intas.

Nice staff, clean rooms and perfect location. Good food and nice cocktails. A good choice for every people. Conference room, swimmingpool and great wellness and massage. Wellness is free and internet lan/wifi is free too. Good value for money.

Bra centralt beläget hotell i forna öst-Berlin. Bra service och snygg design. Parkering i bottenplan på hotellet (cirka 15-20 euro per dygn), t o m speciella p-platser med god belysning och nära hissen för kvinnliga hotellgäster! Speciellt att notera är det enorma akvariet i entrén - en upplevelse i sig!

Lobbyn och centralt läge är nice! Rummen är standard och inget särskilt om man inte uppgraderar. All service för 5 stjärnor finns och det stora badrummet är gött.

En hoteloplevelse ud over det sædvanlige. På alle måder levede hotellet op til de høje forventninger. Beliggenheden er unik lige i hjertet af Berlin. Gåafstand til de fleste kulturelle seværdigheder. Hyggelige caféer og restauranter langs floden Spree lige rundt om hjørnet. Imødekommende personale og enestående serviceniveau. Værelser er lyse, rene og moderne indrettede med fladskærm og gratis trådløst internet. Prikken over i'et er det imponerende akvarium, der pryder hotellets lobby. Hele pakken fås til mere end rimelige priser.

Riktigt läckert hotell centralt i Berlin. Ett par hundra meter från TV-tornet. Bara att åka hissen var en upplevelse, man har nämnligen utsikt mot ett jätteakvarium utformat som en cylinder! Frukosten va fantastisk(man kan sitta ute längs med kanalen och äta) och rummen va grymt tysta, svala och med bekväma stumma sängar. Precis bredvid fanns ett litet miniplaza med flera restauranger, små butiker etc.

Super lækkert hotel med venligt og imødekommende personale. Central beliggenhed og fantastisk udsigt fra værelserne mod domkirken

God service, fine fasiliteter og spektakulert akvarium i lobbyen. Et svært godt hotell som har en perfekt beligenhet, midt i Berlin. God frokost buffet og, men prikken over ién gikk bort da både badekåper var borte og to senger slått sammen til en queensize, når jeg ba spesielt om det. pluss fint spa anleg nede

Utrolig fornøyd med servicen på dette hotellet, beliggenheten er også topp. Dette er ikke et typisk turisthotell, men et konferansehotell, så det blir kanskje litt vel rolig der for de som er på ferietur. Be om veranda, da kan du sitte og se utover turistene med en kald øl
