Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quaraters - Ουάσιγκτον Ντι Σι

Stayed for labor Day holiday.Good location, great brunch and helpful staff.Need to use street parking to avoid $30 fee which is ok over holiday weekend.Room good but sink leaked at the plug anbd TV channels did not match the room instructions. They have a roof top bar which sounded great but on the day we planned to go it rained so did not bother. Recommend it if you get a good price. Good quality experience.

The walls are paper-thin, and I could hear even casual conversations by my neighbors. The work areas were tiny, and although there was a network connection as well as wifi, it did not work. A light bulb was burned out, and housekeeping didn't check it until I placed the dead bulb on the bed. When I went to use the laundry facilities, two of the three washing machines jammed when I tried to use them, and it took an hour to get it sorted out at the front desk. Etc. Too much frustration for a busy business trip. Next time, I will stay elsewhere.

Great location and good value. Sky bar closes at 10--that was a surprise. Mattres in room could use some updating. All in, I would recommned this hotel to others for value and location.

The staff and hotel are just top notch. Add that it is in Dupont Circle and you have a winner.

The location was perfect. I did not use Valet and parked my rental behind hotel on a busy street and the car was broken into. Perhaps by one of the homeless, they took my favorite sweater. The rooms need renovated.

Thin walls, loud guests, and room pictures not representative of condition or newness of room. No better than a Holiday Inn.

We, a family of 4, booked this hotel for sightseeing in Washington and were really surprised to find a hotel like that for that price so close to the White House etc. Nothing bad to say at all - room was spacious, hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful - just perfect and a very good experience after hotels in NYC ...

The hotel is close to the Dupont Circle Metro stop, which is very helpful. The front desk can provide a map with very clear directions, and you can buy a MetroCard (that lets you load on additional money) at the CVS store in DuPont Circle. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well, and the room was quiet (even though it was next to the service staff closets). Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, you can buy it in the hotel bar & grill, or stop at any number of nearby breakfast places (like Washington DC people who live or work in the area do).

This hotel has comfort, location and service.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The price was fantastic and the service was impeccable. I will stay in this hotel again when visitng Washington DC.

During our 3 day stay, they only had one person at the front desk, so it took too long to check in, get info., etc. People who work there were nice, but they need to have more staff members there.

The pictures are nicer than the actual presentation. The sealing in the bathroom is very low. Try not to look to closely at the corners and the edges because it will start to feel like you are in a Days Inn. The TV was in an awkward location of the room. It was okay for the value. Not completely satisfied with the entire stay.

The hotel was great. Staff was very accommodating. However, can't change structure-the bathroom is very small. Hard to close the door which faces the toilet.

Just stayed one night. It was a room and shower to use. I would stay there again. Some people said bathroom is small guess they haven't been to NYC. I found everything acceptable. Everything was clean. If you're coming to sight see on the mall it's a little far for that. But it was real close to dupont circle and some night life if you're interested in that. I do plan to stay there again in the near future. I didn't eat there nor visit the bar. It closes at 10pm. I know people were coming all through the evening to goto the hotel bar and they were turned away. I think the hotel needs to look at that policy.

Hotel is in a great location, easy walk to the Whitehouse, many museums, and close to a metro station. Rooms a little bit small but clean and comfortable.

Location was great and the price was great as well. My room was small but I wasn't at the hotel much.

Within walking distance of most anything worth seeing. Metro is only 4 blocks away for the others. Dupont Circle is only a few blocks away with plenty of good restaurants. Staff was always more than helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful location, very comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff. We are a family of four and would recommend this hotel for families as well as those traveling on business.

We went to Washington DC to see the fireworks and only needed a 2 night stay. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was, the good location so we could walk to most places of interest and the friendly staff was very helpful. We did not eat at the restaurant so can not comment on it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

a - The main disappointment was the fact that the bed sheets were not clean and fresh. We arrived late on friday and the sheets were used - I was so disappointed!! B - Of 2 elevators, one was broken the whole week end and no evidence of calls to maintenance. And they were tine elevators, max 6 persons at a time. ANd teh hotelwas full. C - The hotel smell, sorry stink of desinfectant/soap or something I will not recommend or go back to this hotel.

It is 3 blocks from the metro station and not very far from the White House. The position is not bad. The price is OK, worth its quality.

The room was very small, but clean with nice furnishings. Compared to other hotels in the area, this was a good value for the money. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice and safe. It is also within walking distance, or a short cab ride away from all attractions.

Hotel is in a great neighborhood within 5-10 minute walk of metro station and about a 25 minute walk to Georgetown. Plenty of restaraunts and shopping near hotel. Rooms are modern and nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. All around incredible value for the price.

It was okay for the money, but I can't say I was thrilled. Hair on the bathroom floor when I checked in, elevator out of service for most of the four days I stayed, and no wireless internet connection (AND you have to pay for a CAT-5 cable).

This hotel was a good place to stay during my trip to D.C. It was in a good neighborhood and fairly close to everything. We walked everywhere we went for the most part and it took ~10 to 15 minutes to get to most of the main sightseeing places. Also the hotel's restaurant had a great brunch!

If driving a car to the hotel, remember to add $30 per night to the tab for parking. It was a nightmare for us (and others) to unload our cars because there is insufficient space in front of the hotel for handling customer's cars. The elevators are more like little closets that move up and down. If you have a stroler or wheelchair, it's going to be tight. The rooms are pretty nice and well-appointed. Location is three blocks walk from the metro - not too bad. Surrounding neighborhood is businesses. Retaurant picking is slim at best around the hotel. No place could be found for breakfast on the weekend outside of Starbucks. Of course, you could eat at the hotel if you don't mind paying $4 for a glass of OJ. Staff courtesy was a mixed bag. People behind front desk were frazzled, however bell hops were friendly. I'm on the fence about this hotel.

Easy walk to Metro. A few cafes nearby are open on weekends. Not a lot of choices, but adequate for a quick bite to eat. Hotel is nicely renovated. Hotel parking is very expensive as is on site restaurant. No free internet.

The beds and linens need to be replaced.

Our room was upgraded, we were thrilled! The hotel is conveniently located close to the White House and other landmarks. Every staff member we met was helpful and friendly. We'd definitely stay here again!
