Hotel Accademia - Βερόνα

My wife and I stayed 2 nights of our honeymoon at this hotel, and loved it. The hotel decor is attractive and luxurious. We found the central location in Verona very convenient for walking around the city. The staff couldn't have been more polite, friendly and helpful. When they found out it was also my wife's birthday, they surprised us with a birthday card, sparkling wine and sweets. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent, and sang 'happy birthday' at dinner for my wife. Breakfast was lovely too.

great central location. for the squares, arena, walks, shops and restaurants. everything absolutely great. clean, friendly, up to date.

This is a really nice hotel, but they really have to stop with the industrial-strength ammonia cleaner -- I thought I was going to faint when I entered my room after it was cleaned. You can see the bottles of the stuff out in the hall when they're cleaning, they must go through 100 gallons/day. Either they have some serious problem they're trying to get rid of, or they need to teach their cleaners their jobs better. When then ammonia smell finally fades, all that's left is some horrible other residual smell.

A jewel of a hotel in a perfect location close to the arena and historical sights but a bit off the main drag which gave it a peaceful atmosphere, complete with a wonderful bookstore on close by. The public spaces were very well appointed with complementary drinks in the afternoon. The hotel had an understated elegance which felt more like a five star.

Good central location, helpful and knowledgeable staff, wife liked the clean bathroom. No views from windows (centre town location jammed between othre buildings)

My husband and I just returned from 3 weeks in Northern Italy. Verona and the Hotel Accademia were the highlights of our trip. The hotel had every amenity one could want, the staff was incredibly helpful and courteous and the hotel room and public areas were as clean as could be.

This hotel is the last place you can drive to on this street, so when you walk out the door you are very close to everything you want to see. Just minutes from the Arena, Piazza Erbe, Juliet's balcony and home, beautiful churches, the Roman Theatre and the Castle Vecchio. The hotel is really quiet and this is probably the result of great windows and electronic shutters. The rooms are well appointed and they provide free wireless with a password. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful even bringing us some band-aids when I cut my self, and giving us directions to a 24 hour pharmacy when I needed some allergy medicine. Breakfast was good and their coffee was very good. All in all a great place to visit.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff and perfectly situated. We just stayed the one night although we both wish it could have been more. Lovely city.

The Accademia is located in the historic center of Verona, just off the main pedestrian shopping street. It is an excellent location for a tourist. A cab ride from the train station costs 8-10 euros. My room was large by European standards and very well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is built by connecting multiple buildings, so it has lots of stairs and odd hallway patterns. It could be difficult for people with mobility problems. The price was quite low for the quality of room and service that I received. I ate dinner in the hotel's restaurant, which is formal, has excellent food, and is a bit pricey.

My fiancee and I arrived late (fog at the airport), but our spirits were lifted the second we entered the hotel lobby. Understated quality and style will be our abiding impression. Faultless. Worth double the price.

This Hotel was very convenient to the main sight-seeing area and the employees were very nice. The best part was that this hotel had the largest room we have ever stay in in a European country. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location: In the heart of the histroical center of Verona one can walk to all points of interest, even to the train station. At the intersection of Via Mazzini and Via Scala. Hotel: Very clean, very firm mattresses but better than too soft. Pillows are hard, but soft ones available if you ask. Quiet. Some bathrooms with tub, others with shower. Modern top line fixtures. Breakfast second floor, food above average, fresh, inviting, tasty. Adjacent restaurant with entry from hotel, different management, good service and well prepared and presented meals and nice wine list. Room service prompt. Complimentary computers next to lobby available for Internet access. Service: Excellent. Efficient front desk staff also speak English, assist with train schedules, restaurants, directions. Would I stay here on another visit to Verona. Yes. No hesitancy.

Really good hotel in a fantastic location. we booked a superior room which was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was Ok and the hotel reception staff helpful at booking restaurants for us. Verona was an ideal location for a few nights break a lovely city to wander around and get lost in the back streets discovering antique shops and cosy cafes.

Hotel Accademia was outstanding. The rooms were large and comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional.

This hotel was in a wonderful location 2 mins walk to Romeo & Guiletta's balcony and 7 mins to the Opera. The hotel was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. I would not hesitate to return.

The hotel was exactly what I expected. It was comparable with with a mid range Marriott in the United States. Our room with two double beds was nice. The room itself was not very large but the bathroom was well appointed and had a large shower. The only major downside was that the beds were very hard and not comfortable. However, even at 5 star hotels in europe this is usually the case.

We stayed here as part of a trip across Italy taking in Venice, Verona, Florence and Rome. The Accademia was excellent, very definitely a four star experience, from the ensuite room with walk-in shower, and a separate terrace garden (unfinished during our stay, but it only needed a few chairs to be an extremely comfortable way to spend an afternoon), to the service provided by the hotel staff, which was excellent. On our arrival, free drinks and snacks were made available until a set time, and on departure a taxi was very swiftly summoned to get us to the train station.My only slight criticism would be the breakfast room: the breakfast food was all of very good quality, but the room itself fairly gloomy and the service by the breakfast staff was perhaps slightly tense - the three star hotel we stayed at in Venice offered a much more relaxed and enjoyable experience. That slight criticism aside, I would definitely stay here if visiting Verona again, and I would recommend it with confidence to others.

Excellent location in the heart of the city.

Hotel was directly located in the prestine downtown Verona. Hotel staff was polite and helpful. Centrally located to anything you would need. Room was neat clean and equipped with whatever you needed.

I was extremely pleased that this hotel was so centrally located and so well run. It's just steps from all the shopping areas and very close to both Juliette's house and the arena. The service was wonderful. The staff was very helpful. And, the hotel was clean and impeccable. The only minor criticism I'd have is that the restaurant is probably not one of the best in the area. But, there are many others that are very close by.

Veldig bra hotel for pengene. Fint rom, rolig omgivelser og så sentralt som det går an å være.

The place to be in Verona. Dans le centre historique, c'est le point de départ pour visiter cette ville d'une richesse inouïe!

Sjeldent bra i alle sammenhenger. Hit kommer vi gjerne tilbake. Store rom, veldig rent, hyggelig betjening, stor frokost buffet. Parkering i garageanlegg rett ved hotellet.

Die Lage des Hotels ist geradezu perfekt und mitten in der Stadt und in Laufdistanz zu allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten Die Zimmer sind großzügig bemessen sehr sauber und locker deutschem Vier Sterne Standard entsprechend Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig es gab von allem etwas und dies in hoher Qualität
