Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel - Λονδίνο

Stayed here for weekend while taking in a west end show. Great location - close to theatre and walking distance to all the west end attractions. Booked a Deluxe King Size room and it wasn't that big - the standard rooms must be tiny! Room was not made up on arrival but we were put in another room after a 5 to 10 minute wait. Staff friendly and the Mojitos in the bar are lovely if a bit pricey.

Exceptionally clean hotel but it you have any sensitivity to chemical sents or smoke then you may want to look elesewhere. Strong purfumed sents in the lobby and we smelled strong smoke smell in our room even though it was non smoking.

Fragranced air in the lobby + the lounge/bar makes it a good hang out. Very fresh hotel for the price range. One hting is outright bad - the cramped exercise room in the basement is subpar compare to the rest of this great hotel

We were very impressed with this hotel. Looks like it has been recently refurbished. Very clean and tidy. Nice bar & restaurant. Lovely breakfast, full english included in breakfast buffet price. Room was perfect size, nice big bed, very comfortable. However put the air conditioning on before you go out for dinner in the evening as room was very very hot on our first night!! About five mins walk from Covent garden and Oxford street which was nice as we didn't have to keep getting on the tube. Would recommend and we will deffinately stay at this hotel again on our next trip to London. However if you find a better price at the Raddisson Kenillwyou may aswell book in there as to our supprise it is right next door!

My mom and i stayed at this hotel for three nights and we loved it..We had a queen bed booked as that was the offer available but when we got to our room it was tiny! the bathroom was almost bigger than the room!! We complained about the room and a staff member (Stephanie) was very helpful! she showed us four other rooms before we picked one..we got upgraded to a grade A luxury room and it was very spacious, bright and airy! Our room had tea/coffee making facilities, iron, mini fridge, safe, big bathroom, T.V, internet connection and a lovely view! However, we made tea one night and the next night we were going to make another cup but housekeeping did not refill milk and tea and it was not cleaned but we rang housekeeping and it was sorted out. The shower drains were also not cleaned and it was a bit clogged with hairs...not nice! But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay..the food in the hotel restaurant was delicious, kind of pricey but not that bad. The staff are slow in the hotel so be prepared to wait a little but we noticed that staff everywhere in London are slow so take no notice. The location is extremely convenient within 3-5 mins walk to Oxford St. and 2 mins walk to Tottenham court road TUBE station. The hotel is modern, comfortable, convenient and is a lovely place to stay!

The perfect spot if you like Museums and the theatre, and being close to an underground station. We highly recommend this place.

Fantastic service, attention to detail and all round feeling of quality

Wasnt there very long but was impressed with the facilities, cleanliness and service. Would have no hesitation in returning.

Service was second to none.Nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast was excellent with very good choice. The whole experience was a delight.

Arrived early for check-in (lik 9:30 AM), very tired... we were given a room by 10:30, which was not to our complete satisfaction (lower floor and a fan as a view trough the window)... anyway we managed to take a nap and have a shower, by midday we were given a better room... that was almost all the interaction that we had with the staff in 6 nights, not that any more was necessary. Everything looks new and well cared, the breakfast is expensive (I think 17.5 pounds), but there are a Starcucks, Cosi and Cafe Nero cofee stores at a block of distance and a nice cafe just crossing the street... the location, that's why we satyed there!! British Museum at one block, Totenham COurt Road Sation 5 minutes walk, the Soho and Fitzrovia walking distance for eating and walking even at night... we loved it!

Stayed in the Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel for 2 nights. Both my wife and myself found the hotel to be very modern, clean and with a great location. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful.

Best hotel I have stayed in for ages! As soon as we arrived we were upgraded to a King Deluxe room. The check-in was very efficient and the staff extremely friendly. The room was fantastic, with a massive bed, wadrobe space and a wet room and gorgeous bathroom with all mod-cons. I want to definitely go back and stay at this hotel, it really is beautiful and I have stayed in some of the top hotels in London. For the staff, room and location I would give it nothing less than 5!

Our stay at the Raddison was wonderful, the rooms are excellent, very comfortable and the service is second to none. Thankyou to all the staff

the service at this hotel needs to be greatly improved. the locatio and decor was very good however in these economic times the hotel staff should be going out of their way to make sure that the customer is enjoying their stay and help with any concerns or questions

While the hotel was in very good condition and the service was also good, the accommodations vs the price was not acceptable.

Just spent 2 nights at Radisson Edw. Blooms. Excellent service from a very friendly staff who upgraded us to accomodate extra bed for adult child - when extra (which was an inflatable mattress) wouldn't stay inflated, they gave her her own room. Had king size room that was fairly spacious and comfortable. Lobby is very nice and welcoming. Upstairs, black walls in elevator lobby not to my taste. Dark colors in room not best choice, given only one window in a corner. Bathroom almost as big as room, but odd to have drawers and open closet in bathroom. Overall, design of rooms not the best, but quality, location and service are terrific.

This hotel is expensive, even by London standards. I found it really surprising that a room listed as a "Deluxe King" did not even have a chair in the room!! There was a king size bed, a night stand, and a small refreshment cabinet with fridge. The bathroom was very acceptable, but even there, the soap and shampoo was in large dispensers. No bars of soap or individual amenities.

Comfortable hotel in a great location

I was in London for a friend's Birthday celebrations and had been given the responsibility for booking five of us a Hotel. No pressure there then, especially since they're all very picky! What a welcome sight was the Radisson Edwardian; from arriving in the cab and noting that the show we were booked for was at the end of the street, the helpfulness of the concierge with our bags and the immediate first impressions of the building, were a heady mixture of euphoria and relief . The early check-in I had requested was graciously honored and the rooms were stylishly refurbished with everything one would need, clearly I had triumphed. Checking out was equally seamless, so thank you to all the hotel staff who made our stay so amazing. In the words of Arnie "I'll be back"!!

My son and I were staying in London for two nights. The Hotel is located in a very nice location. The staff we talked to were very polite and helpful in all respects. Overall we had no complaints and really enjoyed our stay.

I enjoyed this hotel. It was in a great location (very close to the British Museum) with lots of restaurants and shops within a few blocks. It was also near the tube station and that made it easy to get around the city. The room was large by London standards and in pretty good shape with a comfortable bed and newly renovated carpets and materials. The breakfast buffet was good and included with my room. I arrived at noon hoping to check in a bit early, but the room wasn’t ready yet. They came and got me around 1:30 which was ahead of the 2 p.m. standard check-in, which I appreciated! All around a good choice.

Great location and good service. BUT - before booking I called and asked if they were inside the congestion zone. I was told no which as I now know to my cost is not true. In itself a minor irritation but the badly kerbed alloy wheel on my new car was not. Don't let them valet park - do it yourself.

I reserved a "Queen Superior" room and on check-in was told I had a "Queen Standard" room. I questioned this, and the desk clerk said, "Oh, yes, it's a Superior room," without making any changes whatsoever in my record. The room I got was extremely small--not much room around the bed. The hair dryer was located in a drawer in the closet, and permanently plugged in there, so no way to dry my hair in front of the bathroom mirror. For some reason the hotel restaurant was not serving dinner on my first night and I asked the concierge for a recommendation in the neighborhood, telling him that I had walked a lot that day and wanted a good British pub in the immediate vicinity. He pointed me in the direction of a street and told me that there were lots of really good pubs there, but there were not. I ended up walking quite some distance, and still did not find anything acceptable. The hotel has obviously been upgraded recently, and it's within short walking distance of the British Museum and a couple of Tube stations. The price I paid was a good value, all things considered. But it's a pretty soulless business-type hotel, and I would not stay there again, especially given their lack of customer service.

First of all, it's a perfect location if you want to be near the center of London. We had such a great room, it definitely made an impression when we opened the door. It was larger than I was expecting, too. The staff was hit and miss; some people were very helpful, and some ignored us completely.

Fantastic location, central to shops, restaurants and Theatres!

Location of this hotel is fantastic if you enjoy walking the West End neighborhoods of London, i.e., Bloomsbury, Soho, Chinatown, theatre district, etc. Front desk staff was very personable and accommodating. We booked a king deluxe room, and although there was a king-size bed in it, the room was tiny. Requested an upgrade after the weekend and it was granted - the room was really spacious; baths are all marble, very nice. Exercise room was disappointing; clean, but limited in equipment.

The hotel is pretty well located in walking distance to various places: Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square with the National Gallery, Picadilly Circus, SoHo etc.; this makes it a good starting point for some city expeditions and shopping trips - the Oxford Street offer a wide range of shops for bargains.

Excellent location next to the British Museum, very stylish hotel, room was rather large with a big, very comfortable bed. They gave us a room on the first floor which was right above the hotel entrance (not really nice because the windows were partially hidden by the arch over the entrance). As water was leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom, however, we were promptly given another room on the 5th floor on the back and this was very quiet although a bit dark. Breakfast buffet was great and staff very nice and helpful. We did not try the hotel restaurant.

Dåligt att vi fick ett rökrum när vi beställt rökfritt. Trots vår klagan fick vi inte byta direkt utan erbköd ett nytt rum först efter nästa dag. Men hotellet ar bra service och bemötande. Hotellet har också utmärkt läge och en supergod frukost.

Das Radisson Edwardian liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zu vielen Musical Theatern Londons. Zu Fuß kann beispielsweise das Dominion Theatre in 10 min erreicht werden. Ein sehr angenehmes Haus mit einer gemütlichen Lounge und sehr freundlichem Personal. Optimal für London-Entdecker.

Høystandard hotell med meget sentral og god beliggenhet i en stille gate 5 minutter fra Oxford Street, nærmeste stasjon og SOHO. Meget pene rom, nyrenovert og meget god komfort. Restauranten og baren var stilig, men lite besøkt. Anbefales sterkt hvis man vil bo meget sentralt, men samtidig i et rolig strøk med gangavstand til alt.

Hotel 4* reali, al di sopra degli standard medi londinesi. Servizio impeccabile con personale poliglotta estremamente cortese e disponibile. Camera funzionale, sufficientemente spaziosa, con letto comodissimo ma con 2 pecche: troppi cuscini decorativi sul letto (secondo me poco igienici) ma è un vizio comune a molti 4* e finestra che dava sui motori degli enormi condizionatori, il che rendeva proibitiva l'apertura con noi in camera ma ben insonorizzata benchè cupa. Bagno ben accessoriato (creme idratante e balsamo con dispenser) malgrado l'assenza del bidèt. C'è la macchina per il ghiaccio all'uscita degli ascensori dei piani. Un consiglio: scegliete la soluzione B&B le solazioni sono superlative ed abbondantissime

Vi valgte dette hotellet på bakgrunn av de positive kommentarene det hadde fått, og jeg legger meg på den lista jeg også. Vi hadde et veldig trivelig opphold og vi kommer gjerne tilbake senere. Kjempegreit med trådløst internett-tilgang. Det som var minus var at de hadde lite adaptere, så vi måtte vente to dager før vi fikk en. Frokosten var ganske dyr, så vi valgte kun å spise på hotellet to av de fem dagene vi var der. Ellers var det god standard og flott service. Anbefales gjerne!

Ankom, tjekkede ind på 5 min. Værelset var iorden, men til natten var der for varmt, da airconditioningen var istykker. Næste morgen fik vi straks et nyt værelse hvor airconditioningen virkede. Værelserne var fine, og der var endda noget der mindede om en dyne (istædet for de almindelige tæppeagtige ting) Hotellet ligger tæt på undergrunden, samt en af verdens fedeste tegneseriebutikker "forbidden planet". Kan anbefales, prisen er rimelig, men det er ikke billigt.

Rene flotte værelser, venlig god service. God placering i byen, nogle centrale pladser og metro rund om jørnet. Morgenmad lidt dyr.

OK modern hotel but a small room with no view at all. Almost like living in a box.

Hotellet fremstår som helt nytt, og rommet vi hadde var stort og fint (vi hadde et litt dyrere rom). Det ligger et steinkast unna British Museum, og det tar ca 10 min å gå til Piccadilly Circus, så beliggenheten kunne ikke vært bedre. Vi kommer helt klart til å velge Radisson Edwardian neste London-tur!

Bra hotell med bra läge. Trevlig personal och fina rum! Mysigt område i staden med flera tunnelbaneuppgångar i närheten (även om vi faktiskt promenerade för det mesta då vi tyckte att det var nära och bra). Finns även flera restauranger och småfik längs gatorna. Vill man ha närhet till British Museum så finns det på granngatan. Rekommenderas!
