Hilton Southampton - Σαουθάμπτον

On arrival at the hotel we were given the key to our room (we had booked a non-smoking double). Upon entering the room it was apparent that the room was a smoking room and it stunk of smoke. We immediately asked reception for a new room and they told us they only had non-smoking twin rooms. Due to my asthma we took the twin room. In the room, some of the lights didn't work and the tap leaked. No Air Conditioning. Cups full of cold tea were left in the room after it had been cleaned. Breakfast OK but meant to finish at 11 but by 1-.30 most food had gone and they didnt make any more. Book the Premier Inn just down the road. Cheaper, cleaner and has Air Con.

the hotel was very nice with fish tanks and free fruit when you check in, room was nice with free tea and coffee and we found 5 pounds under the bed (bonus). the swimming pool was a good size with a crazy bubble thing that was great fun to play with. so overall pricey but well worth it.

Lovely hotel with really helpful staff. Room was very spacious with all expected facilites of a hotel of this type. However, the gym/spa area was a huge let down with a very small space and not very well maintained. Hopefully visitors to the hotel will be to overlook this though as the hotel was great in all other aspects.

The room was clean but really need to be updated however for the price it was okay

Great hotel and only 10 mins from the city centre. Had to eat in the bar because restaurant didnt open till 6.30 and needed an early dinner. Food was very good but greatly overpriced. Fish and chips for £15.00. - Too much!

THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND IN GOOD CONDITION, STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND BREAKFAST EXCELLENT. DRINKS VERY EXPENSIVE, BUT THATS A CHOICE ONLY ONE THING SPOILS THIS HOTEL IS THE FACT THAT YOU ARE CHARGED TO PARK DURING YOUR STAY, WHY NOT JUST INCLUDE IT IN THE PRICE IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHARGE

Very pleasant staff, comfortable room, superb breakfast. We enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Hotel location ideal for touring Winchester and Coast nearby

Nice hotel with good facilities. OK location but a bit of a trip into the city centre. The room was excellent and had everything we needed. The deluxe room is a good choice, it is a large room and the bathroom is new and of high quality. Overall a top hotel especially as we got it half price!!

We booked this on a very special offer and expected a broom cupboard with a view of the fire escape. Instead, they were true to their word and gave us a deluxe double including the little extras like the welcome tray with 2 small bottles of red wine, two bottles of water and 2 beautiful apples. Lovely, clean spacious room with attractive decor and comfortable bed. We decided to eat in the hotel and we weren't dissapointed. There is also an excellent coffee bar open all day. We are both very fussy about our coffee and weren't dissappointed there either. Enjoyed the modest size pool, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was good but perhaps because it was sunday, table clearing was slow and hard to get tea / coffee served due to few staff. Only 2 annoyances to speak of - noise from smokers talking under the canopy at the entrance in the early hours up to 4.30 am disturbed our sleep. And litter in the car park - beer bottles, cans and fast food wrappers. Overall, a very good hotel and we would come again.

The road layout is similar to round about but seldom heared any traffic

The hotel is close to the motoway and southampton. Slightly tired looking in the rooms and the health/ spa areas. Some very very Helpful and attentive staff , however was charged twice by the hotel for my stay. Really lovely Breakfast.

We had a deuluxe double room, which you would assume would be nicer than a normal double. It was below average. The hotel looks like it would have been nice in the 80s, but you could feel all the springs in the mattress and the toilet did not flush (had them up 3 times to fix it - they said all the rooms had the same problem and that we could not change rooms). The pool was also old - not like it looks in the pictures. The only think I really enjoyed was the breakfast. If you are actually expecting a nice 4 star hotel - this Hilton is not the place to go. With the reduced room prices though, it is ok value for money - but don't expect much from it.

Banging pipes the first night; followed by 2:30am false alarm fire alarms (in lobby with guests for 45minutes); followed by cold showers in the AM. Normally GREAT; but last weekend was bad.

Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, good facilities and excellent dining and wining. We both felt we were really well looked after

really enjoyed our meal in the hotel restaurant. The service was spot on and friendly. The meal was out of this world. Cannot wait to go back.

Udmærket hotel med højt service nievau i landlige omgivelser. God restaurant. Internet adgang mod betaling. Lille svømmepøl. Afmærkede stier til traveture i naturen. Røgfrit hotel med omsorg for rygere. Kommer gerne igen.
