you will be surprised at the entry because the lobby is not famous,and eventhougt i arrive earlier,the charming staff make all he can to check-in. when entering in my room,i forgot all my tired travel,and appreciate the wonderful flying carpet suite,clean,spacious,.me and my family had aprreciate all the services of the hotel(fitness,pool,sauna,hammam),the friendliness and charming,helpful mstaff.we really enjoyed our stay and the best of all was the location.i will not stay anywhere else at istanbul

me and my girlfriend stayed there for a 3 nights and we enjoy every second we spend there, room view and confort was great, staffs are great and very helpfull, great breakfast, location is perfect, you really feel whats 5 star hotel means, thanks for everything the marmara, we definetly come back

Great location, good views, pleasant staff and a fab pool.

hotel customer service was not great. slow in their responses. communication in English was poor and at times as if they were doing us a favor rather then serving at their hotel restaurant, lobby area etc. Food and drink prices were very expensive.Average drink was around $20.00 etc...

Hotel is in an extremely noisy area. I stayed on 11th floor and don't remember a single night of uninterrupted sleep. The hotel is in a very very busy section of town. Also, paint was chipping on the ceiling in some places.

I enjoyed staying right on Taksim Square. Hotel was clean, a little bit dated but no big deal. My only real beef was the high cost of meals. TL 45.00 for the breakfast buffet, TL 60.00 for the lunch buffet seemed outrageous.

Her har vi et hotell som ligger perfekt til på Taksim. Svømmebassenget er fint, og treningsstudioet er stort nok. Vi hadde god størrelse på rommet, og det var lite støy. Dyrt med frokost og minibar, men det er heller ikke nødvendig å benytte seg av når en har all verdens kiosker, cafeer og butikker rett utenfor døren.

Hotellet ligger veldig godt plassert på Taksim plassen, og med svømmebasseng på taket var det mulig å få en fin avkobling fra den hektiske storbyen. Vi anbefaler å ta frokosten på cafeen Kitchenette i 1.etg istedet for standard hotellfrokosten.

Alt i skønneste orden, dog skal men ikke bo der d. 1 maj hvis man skal hjem på dagen. Dette grundet at strejken fåregår på Taksim paldsen lige udenfor hotellet og derfor er alt trafik afspæret !!!

Fijn hotel. Uiterst vriendelijk en professioneel personeel. Ontbijtbuffet uitstekend. Kamer was niet brandschoon (vieze wc bril, ongelukje?). Bed beetje smal. Geweldig uitzicht over Bosporus. Voor de highlights moet je wel een taxi of o.v. nemen. Net te ver om te lopen. Restaurant is prima maar gruwelijk duur. Makkelijk toegankelijk internet (gratis).

Utmerket hotell helt sentralt plassert på Taksim Square. God standard, comfort og frokost. Svært imøtekommende betjening. Gratis og raskt trådløst nett tilgjengelig.

Der aeusserliche Hotelkasten taeuscht. Es ist sehr bequem und hochkareatig innen drin, obwohl im Zentrum eines der lebendigsten Orte in Istanbul. Es sieht tatsaechlich so aus wie in den internet photos. Fruehstueck war optimal und guenstiger in der direkten Umgebung: Kitchenette, Gisa Cafe, usw.

Alles was perfect, alleen de prijs van de consumptie was heel erg duur!!! Redbull € 9,- thee € 6,- waardoor wij niks hebben gedronken.

Hotellet motsvarade alla förväntningar. Mycket god service och trevlig personal. Fint gym och spa. Mycket god frukostbuffé. Nära till shopping-gata men ett relativt dyrt område. Det var en bit att gå för att komma till de billiga marknaderna. Dock mkt lätt att ta sig fram med spårvagn. Jag skulle gärna bo på detta hotell igen.

Einziger Vorteil ist die zentrale Gegend. Für das Geld kann man anderswo besseres Hotel kriegen.

I used to stay here due to superb srvice, good food and reasonable price. This time prices has been driven to a complete mad level, and the service was really poor. Breakfast was bloody 32€ and really not worth it at all all. Waiters ignored you and getting a friendly attitude was impossible. When travelling in Turkey, you really need a firm base to stay. Going around in Istanbul and Izmir urban areas, you're getting quite tired - And need a reliable, quiet asylum. Taksim Mamara was not that. It was a mess of chaos and arrogance. Not what you could expect from a 5-star hotel.
