Maison Rouge - Στρασβούργο

The staff at the reception desk were very polite. The room was comfortable. The housekeeping staff were slightly strange.They paid a lot of attention to the minibar- they kept adding bottles of water to it for no reason but didn't change the towels for the 5 nights we stayed there. The first night we were woken by a woman trying to get in to our room to Iron her clothes. I contacted reception to be told that there is an ironing board outside my room in the corridor that this guest should have used. An unusual place to put ironing facilities. This is a comfortable hotel in a good central position so is worth staying in.

Excellent location and very nicely furnished. Lobby / Lounge is very elegant as are the lobbys on each floor. Very pleasant breakfast room. Rooms are well appointed. Only issue is the hotel is right by the tramline which is no problem with the windows closed but since the hotel doesnt have Aircon, in the summer with the windows open it is very noisy. If you ask for room at rear it is quieter.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the service was good & the hotel was very centrally located. The decor was very pleasant & the staff were helpful. My only slight criticism would be that the room was rather hot but the weather was very hot during our stay.

The hotel's standard is ok compared to their 3 stars, but has more potential to become more up-to-date. The location of the hotel, i.e. in the very heart of Strasbourg, is prime, but it was very difficult to find our way by our own car since the hotel is situated in the centre and in the middle of the pedestration area. A proper description with driving directions would have helped us.

This hotel was a nightmare to find at night. We stopped two policemen who could not tell us how to get to this hotel. We findly found a private security person who we followed to the hotel. We paid the nice gentleman 10euros gladly after spending two hours on the oneway streets of Strasbourg. The rooms have no airconditioning and it was unusually warm during our three nights stay.On arriving the desk gentleman told us our breakfast was included with our room. Luckily, we only ate there once for breakfast. It was 16.00 euro each for breakfast on our bill at checkout.

This is an excellent three-star hotel that is centrally located and very comfortable. Good value in every way.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly, answering all our questions and even making some phone calls for information they didn't know. Umbrellas were available for our use free of charge. Room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. The petit dejeuner was expensive (13.50 euros; 5 euros for just a cup of coffee), but that was the only downside, and McDonald's is just a block away. Everything we were in Strasbourg for was within a few blocks - tram, cathedral, shopping, restaurants, museums. The lobby and common areas are charmingly decorated.

Hotellet opfyldte alle vores forventninger. Der var stor hjælp at hente i receptionen, uanset hvad vi forhørte os om. Værelset var behageligt stort og hyggeligt indrettet.Morgenmaden var på alle måder særdeles god. Den centrale beliggenhed var et stort plus, og man kunne stort set gå til alt hvad der havde vores interesse. Hvad angår parkering var det vanskeligt at finde parkeringshuset som ligger ca. 300-400 meter borte. gader..

Hotellet ligger skjermet til midt i sentrum. Trikken går forbi på yttersiden, men det er bare koselig. Det er gangavstand til hele sentrum, og knutepunktet for alle trikkene er 2 minutter unna når du går. 10 min. med trikken og du er oppe ved Europarådet, - parlamentet og Menneskerettsdomstolen, 5 min. og du er ved hovedjernbarnestasjonen. Utrolig hyggelig betjening, og flott frokostbuffet. - og apropos frokost, da kommer eneste minus: den er ikke inkludert i prisen, og koster 14 euro. Absolutt et hotell å anbefale!

Hyggelig betjening. Rent og ryddig med fint interiør. Burde vært bedre lydisolering mellom rommene.

Een prima hotel in het centrum van Strasbourg, parkeergarage vlka bij (2 minuten lopen). Ruime kamer, goede badkamer. Ook aan drukke straat (met trams) hoor je, door de goede isolatie in de kamer niets.

Hotel agréable en plein centre ,très pratique pour visiter la ville, propreté impécable , personnel serviable . Seul bémol : il n'y a pas de clim dans les chambres !

Vi var forbavsede over at finde så dejligt et hotel med så god beliggenhed centralt i Strassbourg. Prisen var rimelig, værelset var meget stort og der var en fin service i receptionen.

La situation dans Strasbourg est formidable, plein centre, malgré tout, le calme dans la chambre 426 était assuré, nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement, le cadre et la décoration est formidable, d'une propreté exemplaire. Malgré le nombre important de personne au petit déjeuner, le service était parfait, le buffet trés bien garnis. Lors de mes prochain voyage sur strasbourg, j'y retournerai sans hésiter. Je vous le recommande.

Hotel Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr schönes Hotel und schöne Zimmer, auch von der Athmosphere. Früstück reichhaltig, leider sehr voll an dem Tag und somit keine Croissant mehr vorhanden und zeitweise kein Brot. Matratze sollte erneuert werden

Hôtel bien situé, avec tram,cinémas et restaurants à proximité. Charme un peu vieillot des anciens hôtels de luxe ( prendre l'escalier pour voir les signatures de célébrités d'antan, politiques et artistiques ) A déplorer: la quasi-absence de fruits frais au petit-déjeuner.

Bon hôtel situé en plein cœur du quartier piéton de Strasbourg (attention au parking pour la voiture). Une petite déception en cas de forte chaleur (chambre sous les toits sans climatisation). Bonne appréciation globale.

Un hôtel très bien situé, un personnel accueillant mais parfois débordé donc la qualité du service laisse parfois à désirer... Cependant, les chambres sont d'une propreté irréprochable, laisse à désirer l'isolation des chambres dans lesquelles on peut entendre les voisins dans le corridor...

Hotel af meget god standard, både værelse og øvrige faciliteter. God service i reveptionen. Flot morgenmadsbuffet i hyggelige omgivelser.

Le service est efficace, les chambres sont propres, l'hôtel est super bien placé, à côté de la place kléber (où il y a un immense sapin à Noël), avec ses magasins, et la vieille ville (la Cathédrale est à 1/4 d'heure à pieds).

Et hyggelig hotell rett ved tram'en i Strasbourg. Gåavstand til hyggelige restuaranter og La Petite France. Anbefales.

L'hotel è situato in posizione strategica nel centro di Strasburgo, tra il Duomo e la Petite France. Comodo ancher il parking auto sul retro dell'hotel. Hotel pulito e lontano dai rumori del traffico.

Trevligt personal, men inte mycket till service. Fick rum ut mot gatan och utan AC vilket gjorde det till en svår kombination för att sova gott. Rummen var små, vilket i och för sig inte gör så mycket då man bara sover där.

Zentrale Lage, freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer, ruhig, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Schade, dass das Frühstück nicht im Preis inbegriffen ist.

Das Hotel ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Leider ist die Tram direkt vor dem Hotel. Für Frühschläfer kann das laut werden. Als Zimmer nach hinten verlangen. Das Frühstück ist für deutsche Verhältnisse mässig.

Accueil très aimable, hall d'entrée et halls d'étages magnifiquement décorés, chambre meublée avec goût. Un seul bémol pour la vue de la fenêtre (sur un mur à trois mètres), mais cela garantit un calme appréciable.

Hotel situé en plein coeur de Strasbourg, très agréable, accueil de qualité, déco traditionnelle, avec un charme propre qui opère dès votre arrivée dans le hall.

Accueil très chaleureux ; un hôtel dans lequel on se sent à l'aise. Sa proximité des commerces de Strasbourg et du coeur de ville en font un choix incontournable. A 2mn de la place Kleber.

Gutes Stadthotel mit optimaler Lage im Zentrum. Zimmer zur Straßenseite laut (Straßenbahn) in der Nacht. Bei geschl. Fenster kein Problem.

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr zentral gelegen und man erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß. Vor allem in den Abendstunden ist es sehr angenehm gewesen. Das Zimmer war sauber, aber als Komfort-Zimmer meiner Meinung nach nicht zu bewerten. Man könnte sagen, dass ein wenig die Liebe zum Detail gefehlt hat. Wer allerdings nur einen Wochenendtrip, so wie wir plant, für den ist es optimal.
