K&K Hotel Opera - Βουδαπέστη

Very good location. Right next to the Opera. Metro and bus stop very close by. The hotel is modern and has all the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Near reception there is a small area with three computers with free wifi which was very useful. The air conditioning was much appreciated as it was very hot in Budapest while we stayed there. There was a good breakfast buffet, including some Japanese dishes for the Japanese tourists!

We easily found the K&K Hotel Opera, being in Revay Utca, just off Andrassy Ut (the main route to Heros Square), and as its name implies right by the magnificent Opera House, only 2 Metro stops from Deak ter. We felt very safe walking in this popular, central area.The staff were all very helpful and efficient. All areas of the Hotel were very clean, in good order and the beds very comfortable. There is a good choice of restaurants in the vicinity, we especially liked Menza on Liszt Ferenc Square - the locals do too. We would recommend K&K Hotel Opera to our friends and happily stay there again

We stayed for two nights in wonderful Budapest before travelling further into Hungary to attend a family wedding. This hotel was ideal in location, very central and within easy walking distance of many attractions and places of interest. The hotel staff were friendly and polite with many having a good grasp of English, especially the barman! Our rooms were comfortable, clean and very quiet. We would certainly reccommend and are considering using this hotel group on our planned trip to Vienna.

This hotel is in a good location, about a 10min walk to the main shopping/eating area, and walkable distance to most of the main sightseeing stops. Right beside the metro stop so easy to get around and also to and from the airport. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The gym is very small and the machines are not that good but still OK. I would definately stay at this hotel again if I was coming to Budapest.

Good location right next to the Opera house. A short 10 min walk from the river. We stayed for 2 nights and were very happy with the stay. Parking was easy in the underground garage and affordable.

Bit overpriced (probably because of grand prix weekend) for a basic room with no view but otherwise a good choice for short stay. In a side street just off the main shopping street and very close to metro station.

The hotel was so close to shopping, restaurants, and the staff was courteous and wonderful. The rooms were nice and comfortable. They are right around the corner from a tour company. We went on a bike tour and it was so nice to meet right around the corner. Next time I got to Budapest, I will stay at the K & K again.

There is nothing one can say wrong about K and K in Budapest. The location is outstanding, right next to the Opera House. The rooms are clean, quiet, comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. And it is in the center of everything, with the subway only a block away. K and K offers free wi-fi and a central business center computers for all to use. Even the phone charges back to the US were incredibly reasonable. This is a true winner in Budapest, for any reason.

Being our first visit I did a lot of research on Budapest hotels before deciding on K&K for a) location b) price c) star rating. Our short stay took us to both sides of the Danube and all over the inner rings and quickly realised the hotel was the right choice. The breakfast offered a huge choice of foods and was fresh and delicious. Room was not huge but it was clean, quiet and just felt right. The staff were always informative, had great suggestions, spoke English beautifully. We were "saved" from a bad choice of restaurant for which we are grateful. The hotel was the foundation of an excellent stay in Budapest.

Room was a bit confining, but clean and comfortable. Around the corner from the Opera metro station. Short walk to St. Stephen's cathedral. In-room safe accomodated laptop. The best feature was an extremely helpful desk staff, especially for restaurant selections.

The K&K Opera in Budapest is centrally located. All of the attractions of Pest are only a 10 minute walk away. Metro access is less than 100 meters away from the hotel and you are 2-3 stops away from everything in Pest. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. The rooms were spacious and in very good condition. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet as well as free internet access. It is one of the few hotels I have stayed in that does not attempt to charge you for every single amenity. A great experience

We have had nice time in impressive city of Budapest. However, to be honest ,we have expected better facilities and service in the hotel. We are very didsapointed with unconfortable, hard bed matresses. They are dreadful and shame for such hotel. Also, alhgough the receptionist swere quite polite, it was very hard to get all information from them without persistent asking. They should be smiling instead of staring at the guests.

Great hotel in good location. Reception staff give you useful maps, leaflets, restaurant guides on arrival. Room was very clean.

We found the K & K Opera Hotel to be well situated on the Pest side of the Danube within easy walking distance of the river and of many attractions. The hotel was clean, comfortable with friendly and effecient staff. The only thing that let it down was the buffet breakfast which by 10am was looking tired and needed replenishing with fresh food. Breakfast Dining staff needed a lesson in smiling. Overall though a well recommended hotel

I took some time to search out an hotel in Budapest and i am so glad that i did, because the K&K is a wonderful place to stay, location first class, right next to the magnificent Opera House annd close to Andrassy Street which connects into the City Centre and is a pleasant walk. The hotel itself is clean and modern, the bedrooms fresh and airy and best of all is the breakfast, top up on that and you will not need to eat again until the evening, vast choice and all fresh and replenished regularly. The value is outstanding. My wife and i are both retired and had a wonderful time over New Year in Budapest, which was made so enjoyable in parts by the K&K Opera,highly recommended and would most certainly use it again, if i could get a booking. WELL DONE.

Comfortable, clean, friendly hotel, with a good breakfast!

I really liked this hotel. The only downside was the size of the room.Service was excellent. The location was convienent, just off the main boulevard Andrassy. We could hear opera being sung as we walked back to the hotel. It's just around the corner from the opera house. great eateries abound in this area. Check out Karma for drinks in the evening, a good buzz. Breakfast was good at the hotel and was included in the room price

K & K Hotel Opera is the best location in Budapest just off Andrassy Street. All good restaurants are conveniently located within a short walking distance, some just outside the door

This is one of the best deals for the money, best location and service I have seen in recent years. We will stay at the other K K hotels when we travel to Europe again. Also, the breakfast is fantastic in a town where the culinary art is not up to par.

For the money that I paid for this place, I didn?t sleep at all. The beds are hard as the floor and they didn?t have a queen size bed in the place. There are a lot of better hotels around there for the same or less money that I did stay at also. I was not impressed at all with this hotel. The staff was nice because I have a Hungarian wife that tried to explain what I didn?t like about the place. But oh well easy come easy go. All I do know is I will never stay there again.

checked in at 2300, the staff could not have been more helpfull they spoke excellent english (good job!)and were very knowledgeable about the city and transport links. room was squeaky clean and kept so every day. breakfast was plentifull and very varied with attentive staff. overall an excellent experience . maybe just one thing - smoking was allowed just outside the breakfast room so when you have finished breakfast you can top it off with a few breaths of stinking fags ,roll on smoking bans worldwide. would definatly use again

I stayed at this hotel in Feb of 08 for 4 nights. This hotel is located centrally in Budapest just around the corner from the Opera house on a small quiet street. The Metro (the old subway) is very close but even the street cars are in walking distance (about 5 min). The hotel was a good value to me, nothing flashy just plain decent and comfortable. The restaurant is nothing to write home about but it was nice they had it since I arrived in the evening. Food was decent. Breakfast was Euro style with cereal, breads and a few hot items. The two most important amenities to me in a hotel room, shower pressure and comfort of bed was great. All in all I would go back should I need a few days in Budapest again.

We arrived and were greeted by the staff for an incredibly easy check in then up to our room. Very clean, a good size and well equipped. English language Tv as well. We had a side view of the opera house. While the hotel is on a side street you are within easy walking distatnce of everything, or the metro is 2 mins a way if you prefer that. Breakfast was great, a wide choice and very good quality, again staff were lovely. We were impressed with the free internet as well. All in all a good choice

A brilliant hotel with great facilities, very comfortable room which was very clean. The location was excellent, just 5 minutes walk from Vorosmarty ter and the Danube. Some nice restaurants and cafes nearby.

A modern hotel in an excellent location. About 50 yards from the main Opera house and surrounded with fine shops and restaurants. Nice size room with great beds, cleaned thoroughly every day. A professional staff eager to assist in every way possible. We needed a a multi plug extension cord and it appeared instantly. An internet area with 4 computers, 24 hours a day, no charge for usage. A wonderful breakfast with many choices and attentive service. This one of the very best hotels we have used in Europe since we began to travel, about 20 years ago.

The K & K Hotel Budapest is very conveniently located near the Opera House. It is very clean and comfortable. We had rooms at the back and they were very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Ni behöver inte leta längre, grymt hotell med väldigt centralt läge och top service personal. Fin frukostbuffe och metro gångväg 1 min från hotellet. Gratis internet på rummet. Ni kommer inte att bli besvikna!

Topp hotell med topp beliggenhet. Ekstra pluss at spa i kjelleretasjen er inkludert i romprisen og at gourmét-restauranten Boch har sammme adresse. Vi spiste ingen måltider på hotellet, så vi vet ingenting om det aspektet.

Ett mycket bra hotell som håller hög standrad och ligger nära det mesta i stan. Trevlig personal som talar bra engelska, bekväma rum med gratis internet och en otroligt god frukostbuffé. Visst kostar det en del att bo här men man får å andra sidan det man betalar för.

Dette er et bra alternativ hvis du ikke reiser for å oppleve hotellet, men vil ha en helt uproblematisk base for din reise. Fint og rent, hyggelig betjening, god frokost. Et minus er at treningsrommet har liten kapasitet, kun en tredemølle. Baren og resturanten er heller ikke veldig spennende, men det finnes utallige alternativ i et steinkasts omkrets.

Fräscht och fint hotell på tyst bakgata väldigt centralt alldeles bakom Operan, mycket nära tunnelbana. Osedvanligt fin frukostbuffé, stort frukostrum, aldrig någon trängsel.

Et topp hotell sentralt beliggende i Budapest

Hotellet har tudeligvis vært helt totalrenovert. Ingen tegn til gamle skjøter, lister, tepper osv - bare helt nytt og rent. Litt uvant at personellet hjelper med alt, døgnet rundt - men det gjør de altså.

God og venlig betjening. Placering er lidt udenfor centrum, hvortil hotellet er godt forbundet via HEV toget. Det tager ca. 10 min at komme til den røde metro i "buda" centrum. Sørg for at morgenmad er inkluderet i prisen, ellers bliver det for dyrt. Find de andre måltider udenfor hotellet, ikke fordi det ikke er godt, men fordi det er dyrt. Hotellets Wellness afdeling er superb så husk at gøre brug af den.
