Doubletree by Hilton Cambridge - Cambridge

For us the outstanding feature was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, without exception. The hotel is situated on the bank of the Cam and has a lawn with trees where tables and chairs were set out. We were blessed with glorious weather and it was a delight to sit there with a drink and relax. The meals were excellent and of course, being Hilton, the breakfast lived up to its reputation. If you don't mind paying £5-£6 for a 175ml glass of wine and £8.50 for a double decker sandwich with additions, with other prices in the same sort of category, then this is definitely a place to go. One niggle: the air conditioning in our room was not very effective so, as we faced south the room was very hot. There was a balcony and we found that opening the door to that was a more effective coolant! All in all, we'd definitely go again.

Luxurious. Very clean, tasteful and characterful. Modern, chic and everything you could wish for. Perfect location, massive bedrooms, lovely staff, rooms well equipped. Would go back any day.

Well located within Cambridge with lovely gardens right on the water where you can sit, dine, or just read and watch people punt along the river Cam, picnic or just relax and feed the birds and ducks. Cows are in the meadow beside the hotel and of course, Cambridge University is surrounding the hotel. Wonderful restaurants abound and Cambridge itself is a fabulous place to visit with an amazing museum just a short walk away. We've stayed at this property several times as our daughter is a grad student at Cambridge and have always been happy and quite comfortable. This is really quite an outstanding hotel. The staff is friendly, helpful and the hotel dining room is quite good.

Just got back from this hotel and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The location of the hotel was perfect right next to the river Cam where you can take a punt the sight seeing bus stopped a couple of hundred yards away from the hotel also. The hotel was within an easy stroll to all the colleges and the shopping center. The rooms we had were spacious and modern with free spring water in the fridge alongside tea and coffee. On arrival you were given a homemade warm chocolate cookie which was a nice little touch. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We shall definitely return again soon.

Well placed with easy access to centre. Parking at £15 per day for residents was a surprise but then cars are not encouraged in the centre. Good breakfast and well decorated dining room. Rooms comfortable and clean. Corridors shabby.

I was on a business trip, so WiFi connection was a must. The connection was good and the location of the hotel could not have been better. Nice surroundings, walking distance to Cambridge University's main site, local restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was included, as is usual to many British accommodations. Highly recommended for those visiting Cambridge for business trip to the University.

This pleasant hotel has a helpful staff, a beautiful view of the Cam River, and a comfortable lobby. The breakfast if you had eggs and bacon was below par, but the buffet has many selections.

Goed hotel in het centrum van Cambridge met een gezellig terras aan de rivier de Cam. Binnen 5 minuten ben je in het centrum. Alleen jammer dat ze 15 pond per dag vragen voor het parkeren. In het restaurnat kun je heerlijk dineren en het ontbijt is goed.

zeer vriendelijke algehele bediening alleen de bar chef vonden we een autoritaire houding hebben terwijl de anderen bar medewerkers hun best deden. we komen hier zeker nog een keer terug

Veldig store, fine og rene moderne rom med det meste man skulle trenge. Fin plassering midt i Cambridge. Prisen var heller ikke så ille. Eneste minus er dyr internettforbindelse, men dette er vel kanskje vanlig i mange land.
