The hotel was located next to the trams so very handy to get into the centre of Montmellier. The trams didn't keep us awake which was an initial concern when seeing how close we were to the station. Our appartment had 2 rooms + balcony so worked well as the children were able to go to bed before us. Kids loved the small pool on the roof.

The hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the pool was great in the hot weather. The tram stop is directly outside the hotel and great for getting about. Family ticket (for between 1 and 5 people) only 5.30 euros and allows travel all day. The only downside was that we were unable to check into our room until 5pm - not so good when you arrive at 10am. Would happily stay there again.

we had a tortuous route finding the hotel as an adjacent road had been closed which threw the satnav into confusion and meant drivng over the river twice to get to the hotel. there is an underground car park for 5 euros a day but be warned - it is not for the faint hearted. the bends are extremely tight and steep. being allocated to level two below ground we only managed to get out with much wheelspin and clouds of rubber smoke. forget it if your handbrake is poor. and another thing - small cars only. having said that the hotel was very good. staff were very welcoming. rooms were clean and quiet and had the benefit of a small kitchen. buffet breakfast was basic but adequate and could be taken inside or in the garden. as a bonus there is a rooftop pool for guests. the hotel is located east just outside the city in the modern business area. outside the door is Moulares tram stop, about 10 minutes to the city. the tram system is excellent. 2.4 euros return to the city and 3.50 euros for an all day ticket. we would happily go back.

We chose this hotel because it was cheap and close to the city centre. It was about 10 minutes walk from the centre and would be ideal for anyone on a budget trip. The place was clean and much better than we expected. We stayed in a studio room which was really good because it had a kitchen, all appliances and pans etc. which is obviously ideal if you're wanting to avoiding paying for restaurant food. The only thing that let the hotel down was the English receptionist with terrible humour who tried denying that he was English!

The hotel is well run and the room was fine with it's own little kitchen which we didn't actually use. The cost of the stay was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. The only significant downsides were that the hotel is fighting back against low cost internet prices and our room wasn't cleaned for the eight days we were there. We found that uncomfortable and would need to think carefully before going down this route again. The location worked fine for us as it was immediately adjacent to a tramway that takes you right into the middle of town. Some people would find the noise of the trams and their little bells (immediately outside our window) irritating though they do stop at about 00.30am and start again at about 6am.

le consuls de la mer is a fantastic and superb hotel, perfect for me and my girlfriend on our first holiday together. the hotel is run by lovely friendly faces, many of who are english (luckily!!) and were always willing to help giving diagrams and drawing maps! the hotel is smack bang next to molares tram stop, 4-5 stops from the beautiful city centre and 3 stops from odyseum (a wicked complex of bowling, karting, bars, cinema etc) INCREDIBLE LOCATION. bit of a walk to city centre though or supermarkets, although along the river it is a lush journey. thoroughly recommend as room was brilliant; comfy bed, big wet room and a great little kitchen. a right result! =)

These are comfortable appartments, with easy access to centre, air conditioned,and has swimimg pool. Staff were very helpful.

Très bon hôtel bien situé,tramway à quelques pas.Piscine sur le toît,un peu petite mais suffisante pour se rafraichir.Petit bémole le parking sous-terrain étroit,grosse voiture s'abstenir du 2ème niveau. Reception disponible,bon accueil,ascenseur et chambre propre. Un 3 étoiles à recommander,j'y retourne sans hésiter.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Das Stadtzentrum von Montpellier ist zu Fuß in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Mit der Tramway fahrt man nur 10 Minuten. Unser Appartement war sauber und funktional. Besonders wohltuend war die Klimaanlage. Die kleine Küche war mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Geschirrspülmaschine gut ausgestattet. Der Fußbodenbelag bedarf einer Reinigung oder Erneuerung.

Nous avons été bien reçu pas l'hotesse d'accueil, elle était très dévouée. Pour le ménage avant nous, il laissait vraiment à désiré, les draps étaient déchirés. la moquette pas top pour une chambre-cuisine. Après mon ménage approfondit, le monsieur qui est venu contrôlé, en 40 secondes les 2 chambres, un peu rapide à mon goût. Piscine agréable.

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Nice swimmingpool on the roof. We enjoyed to have a kitchen in the room so we could make our own meals. The tram stops right in front of the hotel, it takes appr. seven minutes to the centre, perfect. The hotel is difficult to find with help of an GPS, lots of oneway-streets around the hotel, we parked tha car and walked around to find it. VERY narrow garage, be carful.

un seul bemol les plaques electriques pour cuisiner puissance vraiement insuffisante et le garage souterrain il faut beaucoup manoeuvre pour y acceder c est un handicap majeur

très bon accueil, appartement agréable , pisicne petite mais agréable . Par contre le sauna n'était pas branché et j'ai dû mettre en route la jaccuzi

Attention si vous avez reservé un appart avec lit, ils essaient de vous en donner un avec canapé et rechigne à changer sous pretexte que l'hotel est complet. Ce qui est inadmissible est le check in à 17h et pas avant et surtout le checkout à 10h00 du matin !!! Dommage car appart bien équipé et agréable.

Greate stay! Close to tram just a few minutes to centrum, nice walk along the river. The romes was nice, just like a small apartment!

Idéalement situé au pied du tramway. Double vitrage peu efficace surtout avec les travaux qui poussent comme des champignons en ce moment (cela ne durera pas plus de 2 ans maxi...) Mobilier et literie biens sauf couchage d'appoint ou on a l'impression de dormir sur un tas de ferraille tellement on sent le métal. Rideau de douche a changer car il est colonisé par des bêbêtes

Tres bon acceuil par contre mauvaise isaolation de la baie vitrée

dommage pour la propreté, nous avons eu le regret de ne pas pouvoir utiliser le lave vaisselle car il restais des grains de maiis à l'interieur.

Nous avions réservé quelques jours avant le départ, une chambre pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Nous avons finalement eu pour le même prix 2 studios de 2 personnes, avec porte de communication. Les chambres étaient propres, bien équipées. Nous avons pu prendre le petit déjeuner dans le studio. Les formalités de départ (état des lieux) ont été hyper rapides, comme pour une simple chambre d'hôtel. Seuls bémols, nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver la résidence hôtelière et le parking privé de l'hôtel était complet. Le stationnement à proximité a été un peu difficile.

Bel résidence dans l'ensemble... Quelques regrets concernant la piscine, bien trop petite 5 mètres de long contrairement à ce que l'on pouvait attendre à la vue des photos sur le site.

hotel a coté d'un arret de tramway,donc bien pratique. Dommage que le parking soit payant et accessible uniquement pour les petites voitures.Dommage aussi que le check-in ne soit qu'à partir de 17 h.Bon rapport qualité/prix quand meme.

des signes de manque d,entretien: mauvaise isolation de la douche baguette de portour de lavabo decollee absence de petites cuilleres

Bien situé à 15 minutes à pied de la place de la Comédie en passant par de jolies coins. Chambre spatieuse, en revanche banquette lit decevante, peu confortable... Parking sous sol 5?. N'acceptez pas d'aller au 2éme ss, l'accès est contraignant et très peu pratique, dites que vous avez une grosse voiture!!!! Bon séjour!

hotel correct mais environnement trop bruyant,wc defectueux;Pas d'explication sur la clim,pas d'explication sur la piscine.Obliger de vider la poubelle quand on est dans un 3 etoiles c'est inadmissible.

Freundliches Personal. Pool auf dem Dach! Akzeptable Ausstattung des Zimmers. Lage direkt am Fluss, gut für ein Abendspaziergang. Viertel Antigone ebenfalls zu Fuss erreichbar.

Hotel excentré, arrêt TRAM Malbock, pas facile à trouver car non fléché depuis la gare. Grande chambre, bon confort. Dommage qu'il soit ds quartier sans café/resto, et en travaux complètement.

Net compact appartement met appart toilet, goeie badkamer slaapkamer en slaapbank in de kleine living. Oke, de slaapbank was een beetje van het type 'doorzak', maar er stonden goeie pannetjes in de kasten en het was een 'goedkoop' hotel. Het is alleen aan te raden om een personeelslid de auto in en uit de helse parkeergarage te laten rijden.

c'est la deuxieme fois que je sejour ne dans cet hotel. la premiere fois rien a redire ,sauf que cette fois la chambre n'etait pas genial, groose tache sur la moquette ,les draps et les taies tachees, la baignoire qui fuyait...........sinon le personnel sympa et pres a vous renseigner sur des endroits sympas. j'y retournerai pour la piscine sur le toit et l'emplacement mais pour les prix pratiqués cela fait un peu mediocre comme chambre

Bien situé, tram à proximité. A la réception les renseignements sur la ville sont moyens. Accueil pas assez chaleureux. Mais chambre agréable.
