Radisson SAS Hotel Birmingham - Μπίρμινγχαμ

The Hotel is well located for shopping and the train station. A lot of effort had been put into the breakfast buffet and the presentation of the food was quite high. The room and bathroom was a reasonable size, with good quality towels. The mini-bar is automated, so if you move anything a charge is registered when checking out. I used the mini-bar for my own items and explained this at check-out and the costs were removed. When I checked in the staff demanded to put 50 pounds on my credit card to cover any spending in the Hotel.

I have been inside the Radisson SAS before but never stayed. It was a very enjoyable stay and I would definetly go back. The service was tip top and the hotel decor and cleanliness was brilliant! The rooms had great views of birmingham and the beds were so comfy. Would definetly recommend this place!

Good location from the train stations and the shopping centers. Nice staff and quality of the hotel... I recommend this one... But when checking out, I have got 16pounds extra cost from the bar... someone must made mistake....

My Girlfriend and I booked in fro Friday the 3rd and Saturday the 4th of July. Nicola at Reception was first class. We were on the 18th floor backwards facing in a beautiful business Room. The window was floor to ceiling and being so high up we couldn't open it obviously. Air con worked fine but isn't ideal to have on all the time. room was a little stuffy but this is a minor quibble. Location was perfect as the Mailbox is right beside the radisson and shopping close by too. We took advantage of the 2 for 1 cocktails on Sat and were most impressed with the attention to detail and friendly staff. We asked for a late check out on Sunday and were allowed our room until 3pm on Sumday at no extra cost! really glad we chose the radisson overall. Very chic and a great spot for a romantic weekend.

We booked this hotel mainly because of it's close proximity to the Hippodrome and easy walking distance from New Street Station. I was very happy with the hotel and the service.

Nice hotel would use it again. Beware, if you move anything in the minibar it will be charged to your bill. So much for technology. Staff really nice and bed really comfy.

This Hotel was fantastic, we were going to stay at the ibis and this was just £10 more a night! we were upgraded to business class with free bath robes and slippers, just wish we had more time in the hotel we would go back just to stay there a night!! we had room 501 and it was windows all round with views of brum, being from b'ham myself this was not important but the room was lovely. only one problem was finding the curtains as one wall is all windows and a bit noisy could not find the curtains until 4 am in the morning did not aid a good nites sleep.

The hotel was lovely ...shame about the location. However, the decor within the room was faultless and room service was great. The only pity was the fact that I'd ordered a King room and having arrived to a twin was not too impressed. Having complained about this I was told that the next day I would be moved to a King...however unfortunately this never materialised...shame really as the hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay at Radisson SAS in Birmingham. Very stylish decor, service polite and efficient! Would recommend and will stay there next time as well!!

A fantastic hotel. Well locatied and very helpful staff

We hit jackpot in finding this lovely hotel with its top location for a great weekend away with a friend on a girlie weekend! We could not fault the location, it was all of 2 to 3 minutes from fantastic shoppping in the bullring shopping centre, really comfortable rooms, lovely staff and a great Italian restaurant. The breakfast buffett was fantastic. Cant wait to go back

My wife and I stayed here over a weekend at the end of March. From checking in (early) to leaving the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The room itself was comfortable, quite spacious and well kitted out. The gym, on the 18th floor was small but had most needs covered. Best of all was the breakfast,high quality, varied, plentiful and served up to 1.00pm on Sundays. Overall, one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Highly recommended.

We were here on a visit to the hippodrome theatre,which is situated across the road from the raddisson.Ideal.Ate in the Italian restaurant upstairs ,obvious why it has won awards.The best thing was the king size bed,the hotel could have been a wreck,but i would go back for the good nights sleep.Staff very proffesional and pleasant.

Staying at this hotel was not worth the price we paid for it. On arrival they did not have double rooms available so allocated us a twin room. Also it does not have it's own car park nor does it offer discounted car parking at other car parks. The nearby NCP costs £16 per day! They even charge for calling 0800 numbers from the hotel phone. Overall it was very expensive.

Smart, modern good service - however taking the p*"s with room service charges. Not the money its the principle £7.50 for beans-on-toast which doesn't include the £3.00 service charge on top!).Mini-bar also very expensive oh and £25 to park the car for you next door in the carpark

The hotel was very modern and the staff on check in were very proffesional and attentive, however we got there quite late and was given an accesible room, with a view of New street station and a connecting door to the next room, after asking to move the hotel was full due to it been quite late. which to be fair is my only gripe as the site never disclosed this when we booked it, the hotel was very appologetic and had said that this is what was advertised. the room was ok but these rooms have everything designed in them for that purpose ie low sink and a low shower which flooded the bathroom,

Stayed for 1 night while attending an event in Birmingham on a Friday night. Check-in was quick and painless - late check out was easily arranged and FOC (suspect this was because the hotel was relatively quiet). Bar is well stocked though pricey and, unfortunately, the restaurant was closed but the menu looked quite nice. Standard double room was spacious and the floor-to-ceiling windows afforded great views over the New Street area of Birmingham (such as they are). The hotel is situated on a busy city centre round-about so expect some traffic noise to filter into the room - we were on the 11th floor so not sure how far up you'd have to go to escape this completely. This said, we still managed to sleep until midday without disruption! To conclude, the Radisson SAS is not cheap but has the quality and location to justify the price. PS beware the card operated elevators...

Was travelling on business, which was at the nearby ICC centre, which was only a 7-minute walk up the road, so very convenient for that. The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel décor is modern and tasteful. Rooms were ok size with interesting views over the city (I was on 16th Floor). Hotel is based at a busy junction but there were no noise problems. Bed had a very soft mattress, which I personally found uncomfortable. Plus it was two single matress on a double base which again I personally don't like. Bed clothes were also single covers. Could have done with more pillows as only two on double bed. Bathroom was regular size, clean and bright. Food in the restaurant was very good but was surprised by compulsory 10% service charge regardless of number of people eating, so was charged even though only on my own for dinner. Breakfast was also good quality. Gym on 18th Floor was adequate and had sauna as well. I didn’t try any of the treatments available. Had one big problem with stay, hot water boiler broke down on Monday night, so no hot water at all on Tuesday and on Wednesday morning issue was still been worked on but at least had warm water but not hot water.

great hotel, very modern, excellent size room

THE HOTEL WAS FAB . THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THAT THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT COOKED, THE SAUSAGE WAS WHITE, BACON WHITE ALSO NO ONE THERE TO COOK THE FOOD FOR US. WHILE GETTING SOME TOAST THEY CLEARED OUR TABLE !

Very good hotel - haven't tasted the breakfast but it seems very expensive (10 GBP prebooking, 14 GBP the same day). The only problem was you can't get an invoice there when booking via the web.
