Le Palace Hotel - Thessaloniki

Nestled in the heart of the downtown area, this hotel puts you a quick walk away from almost all the city's main attractions... and shopping. The rooms are attractively decorated, functional, clean, and when equiptment works, they are heated and air conditoned. The hotel also serves a breakfast buffet that is pretty impressive. That being said, the cons... Staff: Some of the staff were very helpful and freindly.. and others, well let's just say that their behavior warranted knocking off a star. While never blantently rude, they came awfully close. Rooms: Make sure all equiptment/plumbing,etc is working... we had faulty locks, no air condtioning, and flickering lights... with no particular hurry to fix any of it. If you want a bathtub, make sure to ask for a room with one. Most rooms have a movable shower head and no hook to hang it up high. Hotel: The elvator is old, tiny and claustrophoic. The hotel is a little grungier in person, especially the lobby area. Location: Almost impossible to park to unload bags during regular traffic hours, hotel parking lot is 6 blocks away. Would of been good to know this prior, though it doesn't affect your stay.

This is a Good hotel, Not great but good. The room is big, the view from the window was ugly, the conditioner works fine. The location is convenient to walk at the center. Everything is clean and the staff is helpful. But the price is relatively high and the hotel provides only very bare essential staff: there is no fridge in the room, and there is no even glasses in the room.

The best thing about the hotel are the rooms and the central location.The downside is the absence of a sitting area at the lobby and its breakfast.

Very large,clean rooms and bathrooms. The beds are truly comfortable and the breakfast is ample and tasty.

This is the 2nd hotel I stayed in Thessaloniki and was the better of the two. The beds are really different and made by a brand called Coco Mat which I enjoying lying on. The trouble was it was hard to sleep because of the Road noise! The location is great but the room price reflects this.

It was a cool place nice location right in the center of town, the only thing I had a problem with and I guess its european was the extra person charge. I had a huge one bedroom with a king bed and my girlfriend lives in solinica so she decided to stay in the room with me, well it was ok until check out when the hotel guy demanded I pay extra money for her being there no matter the size of the room. It was a big fee but being blindsided wasnt a cool feeling, overall it was a nice place that I would stay at again.

A nice hotel and a great location but for two nights my wife and I were unable to sleep. The beds were so soft that we were sinking in and the pillows were way too thick. Both combined made for a horrible experience for our necks and back.
