This hotel is comforable and the staff are helpful we would book it again

Although the staff seemed friendly on arrival and the hotel itself looked nice, we had problems throughout our 1 night stay. To begin with the hotel room we were given was already occupied by another guest which we discovered after entering the room and seeing other peoples clothes and personal effects in the room. After reporting this we were left for about 15mins before another room was offered to us. We had requested a Kingsize bed when booking and what we got was a twin room even though the hotel was not very busy. The room itself was hotter than a sauna making the whole environment sticky and uncomfortable. We couldn't wait to leave and our weekend was ruined by the poor service.

This was the 2nd time we had stayed at this hotel and it was as good as the 1st time. The staff are really friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. The location is only a short walk or drive from the centre of Inverness and a good base for seeing the area.

the main areas of the hotel and spa were fine and the staff very helpful, however, the carpet in corridors were threadbear in a few places and the ensuite was in need of a good thorough clean particularly the shower cubicle. When we complained we were quickly moved to another room but unfortunaley the ensuite was in the same condition. We were very disappointed in this as we expect better from a 4 star hotel particularly after staying in a 4 star in the Aberdeen area where everything was immaculate.

Got a great rate from Hotels.com for this four star hotel. Room was VERY spacious and comfortable, staff and service very friendly and efficient - free parking. One can tell it was once very "deluxe", but it has lost a bit of it's lusture over the years. However, it was a great bargin and a very nice room for the price that we paid!

What a great hotel! We had one of the most comfortable beds of any on our trip. The staff was very helpful and kind. Recommend highly!

We stayed at the Kingsmill Hotel for 3 nights whilst we were in Inverness. We were completely surprised at how beautiful the hotel was. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

My friend and I had a relaxing weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpfull, they always said hello and goodbye, which makes you feel more than a guest. The leisure facilities were good and the pitch and put was a good surprise. Our room was big, clean and had a view of the extensively large garden, beautiful view to wake up to in the morning! Breakfast was excellent with choices for everyone. We had dinner in the conservatory and it was excellent and the service was spot on. A very good hotel for everyone from couples to families.

Hotel was fantastic and staff really friendly. Its about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Inverness from the hotel. My only complaint would be the creaky floorboards!!! We had a ground floor room and had booked the hotel for a midweek break. The occupants in the room above had an early start every morning (roughly 6am) and the noise from the floorboards was extremely annoying. Just to add, even in our room the floorboards were extremely noisy!!! Sounds petty but this could be really annoying at 6am. Apart from that absolutely no complaints regarding the hotel and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great hotel, especially for the cost. We stayed in several hotels/B&B's around Scotland in the same price range and this was the nicest and definitely had the best breakfast.

This hotel looked great on the website and sounded great judging by the reviews. Well, it did not disappoint! We got a great deal on the price of the room for 2 nights through Hotels.com. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff very friendly, this seemed more like 5-star accomodation. Always a friendly 'Good Morning' from ALL staff - makes a difference. The room was very specious with a huge and comfy bed, had everything you would need. Bathroom with separate shower and bath. The shower was maybe the only minus on the whole room but I think being on the bottom floor it was kitted out for disabled access which is fair enough. We didn't have dinner at the hotel as we were out trying to pack in as much tourism as we could in the short time we were up. Breakfast was great and the conservatory was lovely. Had a nice few drinks through in the bar on Saturday night, with pianist playing. We also sampled the leisure facilities - swimming, sauna, steam room and spa pool. Fantastic way to start the day! We've stayed in a variety of different hotels but I enjoyed my stay here the most! Would 100% recommend. Also, previous reviews regarding the construction work - this must now be completed as we didn't encounter any.

Hotel under going renovations we were not told the leisure complex was closed apart from that we a a wonderful stay rooms are large and airy hotel food was of a very good standard overall breakfast could have been warmed.

Excellent hotel. Great base to explore Inverness and surrounding area. The hotel was so comfortable, great leisure facilities, fantastic food and friendly and helpful staff. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Can't wait to return.

The hotel exceeded every expectation for our break, the only issue which was not the fault of the hotel or it's staff was the refurbishment program that was in place. It meant that some of the leisure facilities were unavailable and one needed to walk through the Dining room after having a work out. This was apologised for and made up up for by they professionalism of the staff and quality of equipment and room quality. Will be using this hotel as a base for all visits to Inverness and surrounding areas. Thanks to all staff.

We enjoyed our time at the kingsmill. We especially enjoyed using the swimming pool/sauna/spa. Bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. Food was expensive- but the hotel is a short walk to town so it was easy to go eat out.

Had a great weekend. Hotel was very good. Staff very friendly and breakfast was first class. This hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and is located in a very pleasant area.

My wife & I took our dogs with us for a long weekend in Inverness. We had a garden room which opens out on to the garden - ideal for the dogs. There is also a park across the road from the hotel so walking the dogs was easy. The room was very large with a kingsize bed, sofa, chairs, etc. The bathroom had a bath & shower but was in need of refurbishment. Our only real problem was that the floors were very noisy - wooden floorboards creaked every time someone walked across so we were woken early from the movement of people above us. The hotl was not busy when we visited so service was sometimes a little slow.

Hotel and staff were excellent. Lovely location out of city center (less than £4 taxi into center) nice grounds.
