Hotel Bellevue Suite - Amalfi

Holiday far exceeded our expectations and views were outstanding. nice friendly atmosphere, hotel couldn't enough for us. View from the balcony overlooking sea best in world to wake up to.

The hotel is a nice budget hotel in Amalfi. It is not & does not pretend to be anything else. A few important items to know: A) No pool B) Town is 10 minutes down - 15 minutes + back. C) Beach is great but it is 500 steps down & 500 up! A lift is available at a premium. D) Private beach is not really private, it is just a pay beach (pay for umbrella & chairs). The breakfast is definitely one of the better breakfasts we had in Italy. Staff were very friendly if not a bit stern. Would stay there again if on a budget (although not that cheap) for a 3 star.

the owner went out of his way to make sure you were completly satisified.they took us to and from out diner plans in town or arranged for transportation.they also have a bar on site to serve your needs and the reason they don;t like drinks outside food and drinks in the room was a past resident trashed 2 rooms cause of it.this will be the only hotel i stay at if i return.

The Bellevue defintielty has a belle view!We had two wonderful days and three nights at the Bellevue Hotel. The room was impeccably clean, the view spectacular and the breakfast included fresh squeazed orange juice, prosciutto, salami, cheese and hot croissants. Our room had a beautiful patio with lounge chairs overlooking the sea below, about 400 feet down below. It had its own private beach club. The staff was very nice. We loved it.

Hotel is in good condition and the view to coast is amazing. Only problem is the manager who is little bit wierd. He doesn´t allow to take any water or food to your room because he is afraid that the ants will conquer the hotel?! But the restaurant downstaits is closed so you just can´t get anything from there. My wife was sick but manager doensn´t give the permit to take water to room from downstars. Go there if you want feel the good old concentration camp atmosphere... And hotel is about two kilometers form Amalfi centre and they don´t have any shuttle services there even they promise that in they hotel information. Best way to move is to use local buses... Good hotel but very bad management!

The owner of this hotel does not like people. He made us feal very un-wanted. Upon check in he informed us he has our credit card and if there is any marks on new painted walls we will be charged. I said "Oh, did you just paint this room maybe we should take another room." no we paint all our rooms every season". We asked is there a good resturant nearby (we just drove for 5 hours). He said there are many in town, just a 5 minute walk away. I asked him for his recomendation. He gave us one...it was closed. The walk into town was on a very dangerous road. We took a taxie back to the hotel. At breakfast the next day we were the only people in the dinning area and he complained about where we were sitting in a middle table, and he asked us to move the table over so other tables could be serviced(we didn't set up the tasbles?). We ate quickly and checked out quickly...never to return again. It's to bad. It is a very nice hotel, and in a good location . Oh well, at least the people in Amalfi were great and we did find a very nice resturant.

Excellent value for money with a great view over Amalfi town, its a bit of a walk up the hill back to the hotel but a lovely walk down and perfect for working off those calories!!

The hotel is simple but spotless! Our room was lovely and had a balcony overlooking the sea, which was a sun trap even in January. We were the only people staying in the hotel as it was so off-season but the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a 15 minute walk into Amalfi but we really enjoyed taking in the beautiful views whilst walking backwards and forwards into town. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and think its very good value for money.

This hotel leaves me in a quandry... it is a beautiful hotel that has been renovated, clean, ice rooms (we had a jacuzzi tub), beautiful view and great location - although a bit of a walk to town but I like that. here is the challenge - it is on the main street with traffic 24/7 - very loud. If you shut the metal blinds you hear nothing. the ervice was horrible - the are sticklers about the hotel and you cannot bring any food or drink in your room and they are not very helpful.

We were only in Amalfi on this occassion for 2 nights to book our wedding for next year! We wanted a cheap hotel with parking not too far away from the town centre and Hotel Bellevue Suite was just right! We did not have a sea view unfortunately as we didnt have the time to enjoy it, but as we have stayed in Amalfi before we know that its stunning! The staff were very friendly and even parked our car for us! Breakfast was sufficient and the 10 min walk down to the town is lovely, the walk back up is a great excuse to eat more at dinner!!

What is said above was my wife's first comment as we entered our suite. And we have visited quite a few other hotels around the world. A fantastic view from the terrace over the blue Mediterranean Sea as well as over Amalfi town on our left. A nice terrace with sunbeds surrounded by blooming bougainvillea. Good parking facilities which means a lot when you have seen how crowded the road stretching along the Amalfi Coast really is. In the evening we were offered a ride down to Amalfi Town where we had a meal on the Church Square before we took the bus back to the hotel. Just a few stops but a climbing road so this helped our tired legs and bodies. If there will be a next visit to Amalfi we will certainly go back to Bellevue Suite again! Can be recommended!

The room is incredible, the cleaniness standard was very good. It was nice and a personal service. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The service was not up to our hopes. They tended to look after the older guests rather than us 30-yearolds, for example one incident when we asked for something at the reception and an other older american guest ignored that we were first and so did the recepionist... another time we asked for two glases of wine in the bar and were told, in an unfriendly way, there weren't selling wine/glass. At the same time, the barman started talking to a coulple of older German guests (in german), also standing at the bar that, "What do they know of wine?, They should be glad that we sell them this bottle at all!" etc. They didn't know that we also speak german. It is also not the hotel shown in the picture. Between you and the ocean the is the main route of the Amalfi coast....therefore traffic right outside your window from 6am to 23pm. To sum up. If you are under 50yrs old, stay somewere else. Looking for a room only overviewing the ocean, stay somewhere else.

Vi valde "ej havsutsikt" och fick ett rum med fönster in i bygnaden helt utan dagsljus.

Mysigt hotell med bra service! Stranden ligger 200 m från hotellet och man åker hiss till stranden, kostar EUR 12 per dag att åka.

hotel ligt op een mooie locatie, langs de kustweg van Amalfi. ontbijt is erg eentonig iedere ochtend werd aan tafel hetzelfde gebracht. Personeel is erg eigenwijs en nep-vriendelijk. De richtlijnen die in het het hotel staan geven je het gevoel dat je niets mag, zoals niet met je schoenen aan op bed, dat lijkt ons logisch.
