Abasun Hotel - Μονπελιέ

Hotel very central to city centre. Walking distance to train station & most attractions. Room was very basic. Air Con didnt work in our room & the light in the tiolet area didnt work. Staff had very little english,but were friendly. If staying for one night this hotel would do more of a hostel than a hotel tho. Recommended due to its location.

We selected this hotel for location, close to the City Center and the Rail Station, just a few minutes walk to either. The staff were very friendly and helpful, did their best to make us feel comfortable and safe and helped us up with the luggage, as the hotel does not have a lift. The room we had was still being renovated, but it was still very comfortable and very clean. Only little traffic noise from street was from the electric tram, we overlooked the street and were not disturbed. Would deffinitely stay there again.

Although there were a few glitches in the room (no light fixture on one side of the bed and one wall plug that was pulled from the wall), the room was spotless, the water was hot, and the maids were very accomodating when we asked for extra towels and another pillow. The toilet paper holder made us laugh as it was so full, it wouldn't stay closed and the water in the shower was on a 30 second push timer that you had to keep pushing. Overall the people at the desk and on staff were very nice - spoke very little English so you need to try out your French. No elevator, but our 1st floor room (2nd floor US style) looked out on a quiet patio in back of the hotel.

best location in the city

The Abasun couldn't be better positioned for the Centre of Montpellier, but that's the only plus point. The place itself is dodgy. An unwelcoming entrance then a walk up narrow steps to our room, stepping on loose tiles on the way. Basic would be a kind word to describe the room. Wallpaper peeling off, holes in the wall, light not working, even drawers locked shut. If you want cheap and central this is a good choice. If you want anything more, steer clear

Très bon accueil, confortable.

Litet hotell med små rum och litet badrum. Trevlig personal som var vänliga och tillmötesgående. Läget var mycket centralt och nära till kommunikationer och folklivet. Men en liten fläkt på rummet och bullrig gata utanför gjorde att sömnen inte blev den bästa. Rekommenderar öronproppar, Rummen är enbart för övernattning.

etat propre mais: douche bouchée et fuite d'eau,wc sfa qui fait trop de bruit travaux en cours lamentables cloisons trop fines ect....

situé a proximité de la gare rue passante mais calme

Det var en skuffelse at finde mit værelse, med sengekøj, jeg havde min søn på halvandet år med og han skulle sove i min seng. Der var ingen lamper så jeg åbnede for vinduet men der kunne min søn nemt falde ned fra 1.sal.

`Vi tyckte man hade gjort det lätt för sig när rummen renoverats.Satt dörrar på sned,ofärdiga elinstallationer osv.Vänlig personal dock

L’hôtel est certes bien situé et ne coute pas excessivement cher, mais le confort et la qualité sont à désirer : pas de savon/champoing, pas de rideau de douche, pas de serviette au sol, pas de lunette de WC, un lit très « expressif »… et pour couronner le tout des cloison tellement fine qu’on ne ratte pas le moindre détail de ce qui se passe chez les voisins.
