Hotel San Ranieri - Πίζα

We stayed here on a holiday to Pisa. Although it's a little way from the town center there is a very good bus service from outside the hotel to the train station in Pisa. The Hotel is very futuristic and interesting. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. There is parking right outside, WiFi access from the rooms etc making the hotel very well equiped. It's a shame there is no pool but the Italians don't seem to go much on swimming anywhere.

Strange modern decor- would be a smash hit with the teens and tweens. Otherwise a great place. Friendly people and a great breakfast.

I expected the design of this hotel to be pretty cool. It was not. This hotel is stuck in a suburb of Pisa in a very inconvenient location. Our room was not clean when we arrived (flies, dirty fridge and floor). The restaurant's food was poor.

Very modern hotel, clean, comfortable and impressive. Buffet breakfast was wonderful and bountiful. The hotel is very accessible, bus stops right in front, and around 20-25 minutes to the city center and train station.

This hotel was modern, clean and had everything we could have wanted. In fact, the hotel was better than Pisa itself!! The restaurant was outstanding, although they were lacking a few cocktail ingrediants.

Very good hotel with lots of fascilities. Unfortunately an old waiter in the restaurant managed to put a demper on our stay. When we got the wrong desserts he acted as it was our own fault. The rest of the staff was polite. The breakfast was perfect, and the hotel room furfilled all our expectations and more.

Make sure you have the breakfast. We sat outside and ate their freshly made croissants and great coffee. Probably the best buffet breakfast we'd had in Italy. Make sure you don't go in last minute or it all gets taken away before you get a chance to taste everything. Such an unusual hotel with lots to look at. I felt like I was in a ship on the way to my room. Loved the mirrors everywhere and tv mirror! Wouldn't want to stay there more than one or two nights. No swimming pool. I imagine a great business hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night after 6 nights in Florence. The hotel is impressive & the lights at night are good but that was about it. The woman on the reception desk was perfunctory with no warmth. The hotel itself felt sterile. We were given a room on the ground floor which I wasn't happy about. The room itself looked fancy initially but on closer inspection the furniture wasn't that great & all the switches were needlessly complicated. The floor of the room was freezing & the ceiling was just concrete. The room itself was cold & if you wanted to turn the heating up you had to ring & ask reception (which I had to do twice).The bathroom was very nice. We didn't want to eat in the restaurant as everyone there looked very pretentious so my boyfriend went on the hunt for somewhere else to eat & found a charming restaurant for us where the waitress spoke no English but couldn't have been more helpful-a stark contrast from the hotel. The location of the hotel itself is bizarre. It is in the middle of nowhere, just a cafe up the road & some fields and houses-not centrally located for the city although it was only 5 minutes to the airport in a taxi. I think this is a hotel for the business traveller, someone who wants a clean, modern, formal place to stay conveniently located to the airport. if you want a central location and are laid back and relaxed-DO NOT STAY HERE! Stay there if you like modern things and have a superiority complex. Do not take young children.

Le San Ranieri frappe en premier lieu par l'originalité de son design aussi bien extérieur qu'intérieur. La façade change de couleur la nuit ! Y ayant passé deux nuits dans deux chambres différentes, celles-ci, au design ultra moderne (écran plat incrusté dans une glace) étaient très propres à chaque fois. Les salles de bain sont spacieuses et parfaitement clean. Petit bémol, une odeur d'égout venant de la salle de bain (la seconde nuit). Le lit est immense ! Un parking extérieur gratuit, intérieur payant (10€/jour). Pour ceux qui sont à pied, l'hôtel est loin du centre, nous avions une voiture (10mn du centre et de l'aéroport, facile d'accès et bien indiqué). L'environnement est sans plus mais pas désagréable. Une réception 24/24, un restaurant qui sert jusqu'à 23h (bon mais pas donné), un très joli bar extérieur, abordable (prix parisiens) ! Le petit déjeuner est très bon, copieux et avec des produits frais. J'y retournerais sans problème.

Meget bra hotell. Men som så ofte mangler det to stoler på rommene. Man trenger å slappe av etter en lang biltur i Toscana, så hvorfor er det ikke to stoler med ryggstøtte hvor man kan nyte et glass rødvin før man legger seg. Men som sagt, et meget bra hotell!!

Sjekket inn i slutten av august 2009. Ingen sak å finne frem med GPS. Romslig parkering. Fin restaurant og bar. Relativt billig sett med norske øyne. Vi hadde tilsammen 5 rom i reisefølge, og selv om det ene rommet var booket en dag for seint, viste hotellet forståelse og om-booket uten extra gebyr. Takk til en blid resepsjonsdame.

Bien qu'assez éloigné du centre historique, cet hôtel vaut le détour : un design surprenant (le 21ème siècle vu des années 70), mais un grand confort. Pour le prix proposé c'est une bonne affaire.

Très belles chambres et prestations... Cadre autour de l'hôtel laisse à désirer Couloirs de l'hôtel non climatisés Peu de personne parle le français.

Un peu éloigné du centre ville, mais il y a des bus tous les quarts d'heures qui nous y amènent. Juste étonnée que les chiens soient acceptés dans la salle de restauration / petit déjeuner.

Hotellet er spesielt med farget glassfasade. Alltid rent! Ypperlig frokost. Hyggelig/korrekt betjening. Kan anbefales.

Hotellet ligger noe usentralt i forhold til attraksjonene i byen, og det er lite eller ingenting i nærheten. Bussen går imidlertid rett utenfor døren (hvert 15. eller 20. minutt på hverdager), så det er forsåvidt greit å komme seg til sentrum. Taxi er ca. 10-12 Euro. Personalet i resepsjonen er hyggelige og hjelpsomme men i restauranten, som forøvrig har stive priser, kunne de trenge et smilekurs.

Hôtel superbe, confortable, très propre et au calme. Il est très bien situé pour visiter la moitié nord de Toscane. S'il avait une piscine, on y passerai des vacances ! Le service est excellent et le personnel souriant. Très bonnes prestations en général. J'y retournerai !!!

Man skal ringe til "Front Desk" for at få justeret temp. i rummet. Og de slukker A/C automatisk kl 0900 om morgenen.

Det var et topp moderne hotel som jeg vil anbefale. Enkelt å finne frem og servicen på hotellet var meget bra.

Très bonne surprise. Il vaut mieux disposer d'une voiture car nous sommes un peu à l'écart. A contrario, cela rend l'endroit calme et reposant. Le restaurant a une terrasse très très sympa. Au tarif obtenu, je n'ai qu'à me réjouir de ce rapport qualité/prix. Pour le confort de la chambre, les miroirs partout ne donnent pas forcément bonne mine, les lits étaient très durs et l'éclairage un peu insuffisant ... mais tout était tellement moderne ;-)

A really cool hotel which we liked very much. Great room, really nice outdoor area, especially the outdoor lounges. Kind of a cool, stylish hotel. And the breakfast was really good. The only negative was some of the personell, especially the headwaiter, didn't exactly smile too much ;-)

Service, chambre et petit déj super, franchement rien à dire tout était parfait ! Accés à pise par bus en moins de 10 minutes, arrêt de bus à 50m de l'hotel, 1€50 le trajet (si on prend un ticket ^^). Cadre agréable mais pas transcendant, il manque peut être une piscine pour se réveiller en douceur... Une valeur sûr pour un week-end à Pise ! On a adoré !

il mio era un viaggio di lavoro, ma vi posso garantire che il confort e la qualità rispecchiano le stelle dell'albergo. silenzioso, tranquillo, confortevole. da parte mia non posso dire nulla di negativo.

Vi valgte hotellet ford, det ligger tæt på lufthavnen i Pisa, hvor vi ankom ved midnat Der var fin service i receptionen og vi fik en lækker morgencomplet, før afrejse næste morgen. Lækkert stort og moderne udstyret værelse

Ottimo albergo ben curato organizza sempre qualcosa la sera, il ristorante ne vale la pena.

Hotel pulitoe confortevole, il personale è gentile e disponibile. Ottimo il ristorante.

struttura nuova, molto bella e curata, stanze rifinite, pulizia da gran hotel, colazione ottima in una parola: da provare

Hotel original, assez proche des transport BUS, finition qui laisse à désirer, grosse fuite dans la douche, fenetre du rez de chaussé qui ne ferme pas, donnant directement sur la rue. Certain membre du personnel qui n'est vraiment pas aimable, sympatique, difficile de passer un bon moment avec du personnel de mauvaise humeur tout les jours.

E vietato fumare in camera il resto va bene

Albergo nuovissimo, diverso da solito, moderno e rilassante. Ottima la colazione.
