easy access to town & aboretum. bed really comfy. didn't try the breakfast.

Very clean, room cleaned everyday. Breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly and polite. Would definite stay again.

I stayed two nights in the Park hotel in August 09. The hotel is situated about a ten minute walk from nottingham city centre but there is a tram line you can get if you have suitcases etc and dont fancy the walk uphill. The hotel itself is nicely styled inside and looks like it was refurbished recently. Its an old building and I found the bedroom very small. As its an old converted building you have small narrow staircases, creaky floorboards and can hear everytime the room next door turns on the tap! I've often stayed in modern hotels and come to expect more from the room (it was half the size of rooms in the Welbeck hotel - for same price). The ensuite was tiny... i suspect it was added on recently as it was a box-sized. This left the room cramped with no space to put 2 suitcases. There were good features.. the room was nicely styled with LCD tv, tea/coffee and pocket sprung mattress.. unfortunately the room felt like as small as a prison cell so i didnt want to spend much time in it. The pictures on the website are lovely but this is not my idea of a nice comfortable hotel. The breakfast was good and the dining room nice and the staff helpfil but all the good things could not make up for the very small room

Arrived at the park hotel early afternoon the day before an important meeting. I had originally booked a single room, however upon arrival they upgraded me to a superior king size double at no extra charge, the room was beautiful. Infact the whole stay was great, everything from my complimentary parking voucher to the decor, to the choice of breakfast and the room. The only down side was the state of the gardens upon arriving at the hotel they were a bit over grown and jungle like, but that is probably me just being very picky. Both members of staff i met were very attentive and helpful. Perfect stay would happily go back again or recommend to others.

Great room for money But no elevator, 3 story walk up! no air conditioning, no fan No peep hole in room door Breakfast good Service was good Bath room was 3 ft x 3 ft including toilet and shower, no room to even towel off! TV and wifi was very good over all for money it was hard to beat If you do not have bad knees youa re in business!

The hotel from the outside looked very shabby and there really are a limited number of parking passes,we arrived at 1pm to check in and there were none.They did ring our room as soon as one became available.The room was the smallest double i have ever stayed in but the bed was very comfortable and had good quality,clean bedding.We were only staying for one night so managed .The service at breakfast was prompt but we did not enjoy the cooked breakfast.It had obviously been stood for a long time.we ate at 9am and they serve til 11am .overall it was ok for the money.

I stayed in the Park Hotel for a long weekend. It took a while for us to find it (mainly because i got lost) but it is very central, and a nice walk past some of the university buildings to get into town. I hadn't booked breakfast with the room (but i wish i had!) and later found out they ran til 11am for later starts which was good! Our room (room 23) had a fire escape (!!) door and sign in it, and this would glow in the middle of the night, so I would advise against staying in that room! But the beds and decor were nice, and we had a nice big bathroom. Would recommend for a cheap unique stay, they gave me a parking permit for my car as well which meant i saved £££!

From the outside, the hotel and its gardens look a little tired, but the inside clearly has been updated. Our bedroom was well presented, with co-ordinated decor and was larger than many hotel rooms we have stayed in. Public rooms were also well presented, and strikingly decorated. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre and also served by the tram system. Parking could be a problem, although there is limited street parking. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues with the room, and a little TLC was needed around the place, but these did not detract from our enjoyment. Breakfast was individually cooked on demand, rather than the usual self-service. We would stay there again based on overall comfort, price and location, which outweighed any minor shortcomings.

From the outside, the hotel looked a little run down. I got checked in at 10am which was very early so can't complain about that especially because I needed to get washed etc. for a meeting that afternoon. The room was big enough. The bathroom had some mould around the shower but not too much to worry about. The next morning I noticed a black mark type thing on the wall. Upon inspection it was something living. When I opened the curtains there was another one on the net curtain. I get creeped out by those sorts of things so I wouldn't stay there again myself. If it wasn't for those things, I'd have no problem.

A 10min à pied du centre; pour la voiture, il faut insister pour obtenir un "permit" (autorisation de stationner dans la rue). Personnel très disponible.

Assez prés du centre mais mobilier et salle de bain vieillots. Prix finalement élevé par rapport aux prestations.Correct pour une nuit.

hotel tres chaleureux,pres du centre ville, dans un environnement calme aupres d un parc. acceuil aimable,salon et dining room a la decoration reussie. chambre aussi bien decoree, propre ,literie refaite tous les jours.breakfast de bonne qualite, diner corect.

Hier kann man sich gut einbuchen Das Hotel liegt gut und recht ruhig Man kann alles per Fuß erreichen Unser Zimmer war klein aber sehr gemuetlich Und sehr guenstig
