Holiday Inn Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport - Roissy-en-France

My family was satisfied with the hotel and we would definitely stay there again. Trying to have lunch on Saturday was a bit unpleasant b/c the dining room wasn't open...they wanted to serve us in the bar, which just isn't cool with a two and six year old. Not that there was anything really going on in there, but it's just not set up for that. There were other hotels within walking distance and a little unexpected village in our backyard so we took advantage and were quite pleased!

The Holiday Inn at the CDG Airport might well be listed with a competitive room cost. But there are hidden costs that the traveler should be aware of that could quickly increase one's bill. For example, there is a charge for using the shuttle to the airport, which almost everyone staying there will use. The shuttle also serves about five other hotels. As a consequence, the trip could be a long one, especially from the airport to the hotel. If one chooses to to take a cab, it will cost approximately twice as much as the shuttle, but will get you to the airport much quicker. The biggest charge will be for food, however. The price of the buffet breakfast per person is approximately what one would pay for a very nice lunch in downtown Paris with a glass of wine. The restaurant serves good, but not great food, for prices that one would pay in downtown Paris for a VERY nice dinner. There are restaurants in Roissy village, but when I tried to eat at them they were literally all closed, on a Tuesday. I would recommend you book a room with a guaranteed rate for breakfast.

We stayed there during our holidays in France and it was really very comfortable. Shuttle service from hotel and Airport/Train/Metro stations is very convenient and available after every 15 minutes and it costs just 5.00 Euros for all the trips.

Only reason to stay here was proximity to airport, but hotel bus to terminals now charges a fee, which was not disclosed. also has multiple hotel pick ups so the buses are too full to piack up from Holiday Inn. we allowed over two hours for hotel to departure and missed our flight due to the lousy bus service. Never again

Did not give us a wake up call. We were about to miss our flight adn the Bus Driver was very rude, dropped us in the wrong trminal

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. The carpet in our room was threadbare, there were tea bags and coffee, but no coffee maker. We could not get a printed receipt when we checked out. It was clean, convenient and the people at reception were nice. We ordered room service and the food was good. The hotel just needs to be refurbished.

Handy to airport. First service person very helpful. Cheeseboard in bar good. Breakfast poor. 2"nd person in morning incorrectly charged for shuttle-already prepaid. windows in room covered in mould-unhealthy. Airconditioning roared at intervals all night.

very nice hotel and convienent to the airport but be prepared for extra charges. first, they tried to charge me for my room after it already been paid for. second, they charge .9 euro for some other charge. third, they charge 5 euros per person for the shuttle to the airport. The room was very nice after I requested another room (the first room had one bed for 3 adults). They also had the reservation down for 1 adult when it was made for 3. but overall, i would stay there again but it is better to know about the charges.

its great if you are flying in and out of airport. very well maintained and clean. great friendly staff and a good rate.

My wife and I stayed here both immediately after flying from the US (as a place to crash and get over jet lag) and the night before we returned home. The room was comfortable, all of the staff was extremely courteous and helpful, and the lovely village of Roissy was within walking distance. The only downside was the shuttle service: there was very little explanation at the airport about how it worked to get us to the hotel, and it was rather slow returning us to the airport (we waited over 40 minutes for a shuttle that was going where we were--the airport, while three other shuttles came and went)

This hotel was not a 4 star hotel. It is a moderate hotel. The hotel room furniture is very outdated and rug is worn. The room was however clean. The good thing about this hotel is the complimentary shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport. From the airport you can then get the subway to downtown Paris. The subway tickets are a little pricy and should be considered in your budget. Breakfast was not included in the hotel rate. Hotel front desk were very helpful.

The hotel is close to the airport and does offer a free shuttle. However, the free shuttle is very unreliable; you could wait up to an hour at the airport or hotel for a shuttle to arrive even though they say they run every 20-30 minutes barring traffic. Even without traffic the shuttle is unrealiable, especially from the airport. Also, if you would like to make calls from your hotel room phone with a phone card it is not possible, you must go down stairs to their phone booths to make a phone call. For the price paid to stay at a conveniently close hotel I was not satisfied.

This hotel is part of a group of hotels at CDG which are neither on-site nor easily accessible. The shuttle can easily take over 30 minute to arrive and then takes another 20-30 minutes to reach the hotel after all its stops. At the end of a long trip, this is too much. The hotel can be seriously understaffed leaving you with no service by virtue of no-staffing to deal with you. I waited 15 minutes at the front desk while the single front-desk person checked in a large group. I finally resorted to the archetypal American solution. For the price, the hotel DOES NOT live up to it's star-ranking. go elsewhere.

The hotel was wonderfun-it was the last night before we headed home. The rooms were a bit larger which is what Americans are accustumed too. Unfortunatly the AC was out that night and it was a muggy night. When I told the gentleman while cheaking out, he pointed to a paper posted on the counter that the AC was being worked on and was disinterested when I told him that I was not informed about it. Not good customer service.

Hotel was rated with 4 stars, but I don´t believe that the rating commitee has seen the rooms. The carput was so worn down in the walkway. Otherwise ok.

Rare de trouver en France une chambre à un tarif correct qui accepte 2 enfants dans la meme chambre, grande de surcroit! Très bonne table et petit dej gratuit pour les enfants.

Hold, restaurant very poor, not very nice service.
