Location. The Angelo Hotel Munich is a design hotel located in Munich, Germany, in the trendy district of Haidhausen, 100 metres from Leuchtenbergring train station. Marienplatz central square is four kilometres away, and the extensive urban public park, the English Garden, is five kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. This contemporary design hotel has a slate-tiled lobby, and is furnished with asymmetrical leather armchairs in black, burned orange, and burgundy tones. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can provide information on tourist attractions and arrange transport, and the hotel operates a limo/town car service. Complimentary wireless Internet access is also available in public areas, and Angelo Hotel Munich is a smoke free property.

Angelo Hotel Munich provides healthy complimentary buffet breakfast of fruit and vegetables in its primary- coloured Sunlight restaurant. The lobby bar, which is decorated with oriental-style lampshades and a collage of contemporary black and white photographs, serves a selection of wines, cocktails and light snacks.

The business centre consists of a 250-square- metre conference space, over four multifunctional meeting rooms, and Angelo Hotel Munich also offers secretarial services.

Guestrooms. Decorated in mustard, black and scarlet tones, the 146 air-conditioned guestrooms are fitted with contemporary dark wood furnishings. White linen beds are framed with high angular headboards, and all rooms are equipped with wireless Internet access, flatscreen televisions with satellite channels, and DVD players. Other amenities include direct-dial phones, coffee/tea makers, safes, minibars, hair dryers, and makeup mirrors.

Distance to Angelo Hotel Munich is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The airport's train station is located between the two terminals on the basement level. The S8 S-Bahn train, towards Munich's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), stops at Leuchtenbergring station which is 100 metres from the hotel. Tickets must be validated prior to travelling. Taxis to Hotel Angelo Munich cost around 60 EUR. Price is subject to change.

Getting around. Much of Munich's city centre is pedestrianised and best explored on foot. The city's integrated public transport system includes buses, trams, S-Bahn commuter trains, and U-Bahn underground trains. Tickets cover all modes of public transport. Taxis wait at ranks around the city, but can be expensive. Trains run from the Hauptbahnhof to other German towns and the Bavarian countryside.
